We recently selected this dentist through 1st commonwealth DMO, on the recommendation of a friend. The office is very modern and professional in appearance. 3 members of my family went in for cleanings. My husband saw Dr. Benny Ruz (the spouse of Natalia) while my son and I saw Dr. Natalia Ruz. My husband was told how "terrible" our dental insurance was, because it doesn't pay enough. I had a cavity which was filled on a second visit. The procedure was fine, but bedside manner lacking- she explained nothing before it was done. My 6 year old son had difficulty. He was frightened, and she found 2 cavities. She does not fill cavities for children whom she deems "uncooperative" and handed us a referral to a dentist who was not in network. The office was adamantly uncooperative about completing the referral process for a pediadentist in network - to the point of being unwilling to complete forms or send faxes. After more than 6 phone calls they did finally comply. For adults this office is probably fine. We felt we received poorer service because we were on a DMO rather than a PPO from this office. For families with children I would definitely look elsewhere.
