Was referred to Puccinelli by my general dentist. I had a root canal done there, and unfortunately he didn't do the procedure correctly. Had a lot of subsequent problems that needed to be corrected by another endodontist. Puccinelli is not a 'user-friendly' guy, and he's very pricey.

this is by far the worst dentist. i choose him based on proximity to where I live and i realized this was wrong. he was not sanitary and was very rude. he did not wear a face mask and was heavily breathing on me during the procedure. in addition, he would not give me a copy of the report or any of the x-rays. the most serious offense was that he said my root cancal procedure went very well but when i woke up the next morning the entire right side of my face was swollen. when i went to him he screamed at me and told me to just deal with it and over time it would get better. he was extremely rude and his staff was just standing their smiling and talking amongst each other. this guy is a crook in his own family business and i should have went elsewhere- i will never go to this rude, terrible, unprofessional dentist again.

I had 3 appts with Dr. Puccinelli. One with Dr. P Jr. & 2 with Dr. P Sr. My experience on ALL 3 were horrible. I will NEVER return to this practice. Dr. P. Jr. has an abrupt bedside manner & when asked about surgery replied "my father will answer your questions at the surgery"& handed me a pamphlet. Dr. P Sr. explained very little the day of. I informed them I was very nervous about oral surgery. They had rap/rock music playing while the 19-21 y.o assist. sang along & semi danced while doing x-ray & prep. How Soothing! Then Dr. P Sr. numbed me up & I've never had a more painful experiencing being numbed ever. After surgery, I felt stuff in my mouth & asked for tissue or cup to rinse. Assist. gave me tissue & turns out there was blood everywhere. She just stood there watching me try to wipe it up without a mirror. Dr. P. rattled off post op instructions & told me I was done. I went to front desk to pay. Talked to receptionist, paid her, she gave me motrin tablets. After leaving I realized they didn't give written instructions so I returned for those. I then went to get a fruit smoothie & was told by the girl, & was told by the girl, "did you know your mouth is covered with blood?". That is how they let me leave their office!!!

Both Puccinelli doctors are wonderful, witty, and extremely competent! Office staff are efficient, kind, and very friendly. Root canals are never fun but this staff takes some of the "ouch" out of it. They give you the time you need to get the job done right too. Highly recommend!

I came to Dr. Lawrence Puccinelli for a root canal to be done. on my intake appointment I looked the office over and was impressed with the hygiene standards of the office. The work was done in a timely professional manner with appropriate pain control.that evening I started to have increasing pain. I called the DR. their service put me off until the next day (all night in pain) AM,again I called the office and the receptionist told me all the appointments for the day where full and that she would schedule me for the next day early AM with another dentist. I told her I was in pain and needed to speak to "My"dentist, her reply was NO! you can come back tomorrow am take it or leave it. in short I had to go to another dentist to deal with the pain I called my dentist the next day and was again refused access by the office staff. I have worked in a hospital setting for over fifteen years and I have never seen such disregard for pain management of patients. And I have never seen a desk clerk interfere in treatment like I have seen here I have to assume that the doctors are aware of this practice, as this seems to be a standard office practice, WORD TO THE WISE, DON"T COME HERE I give them an "F" for effort

Dr Puccinelli is THE GREATEST. I was in a huge amount of pain & very nervous about the procedure (root canal) but he was a good listener & made sure I was comfortable before he began. I didn't feel a thing! I recommend him to EVERYONE & just wish he could be my general dentist as well....& what a great laugh he has - you'll be in a great mood when you leave!
