I would recommend Dr. Kohani's dental office because they are courteous of your time and do their best to get you in asap. Ida the receptionist/billing lady is also very informative and helpful. I belive they also have Saturday hours which is especially convenient.

Dr Kohani is very professional, sincere and a pleasure to be around. He makes you feel safe and he truly cares about his patients and people overall. You can see that he loves his profession because he loves to help people. I am very lucky and glad to have him as my dentist.

Dr. Kohani is very friendly and so is his staff. Everyone there always took the time needed to take care of my concerns and my cleanings. I was always impressed with their high-tech equipment, but I think that's one of the reasons they are so expensive. My one complaint is that they were not up front about the fact that they went out of network with my insurance (and now I don't go there anymore because it is too expensive).

Dr Kohani is very professional and a confident doctor. He recommends the best treatment out there. However, this also reflects on the pricing of the treatment. The facility looks average. However all the employees seem professional.

Certainly knows how to work his patients! Or at least their bank accounts.
Made disparaging comments about my teeth and previous dental work (which consists of 3 fillings only). Came up with a 'treatment plan' that had me paying $1000 - more than my insurance company would pay, despite my 90% insurance.
Office staff messed up the insurance billing, and it took 5 phone calls and 3 months to get a copy of my X-rays.
After the checkup and cleaning, I never went back.
I went elsewhere for the next checkup - they recommended one filling, which cost me $25.

I moved to San Diego 18 months ago and was nervous about picking a new dentist. Happily, I found Dr.Kohani who makes each visit as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can be. He is always happy to answer all my questions about what he is doing and why and I never feel as if he is rushing my treatment.
