She does not know how to handle root canals.. Not sure who gave her the degree.. She should be disbarred

I have only seen Dr. Hedge once, she was straight forward, and very professional. She needs to reconsider her front desk staff.
About Front Desk: "Honestly" can't stand the front desk girl. She was sweet for my first visit, but the second visit she was lipy and judgemental. I almost told her off but my face was completely numb from a deepcleaning. Might find a new dentest based on the unprofessional girl at the front desk.
About Hygienist: The Hygienist for my deep cleaning, second visit was professional, yet extremely cold, but I don't care what your bedside manner is as long as your professional and do a good job. I heard she was "so good" and maybe she is but no personality.

Professional and Friendly, and seems very skilled. However, felt she was too quick on the up sell. Got the feeling I was getting procedures other doctors might not be recommending. I always seemed to leave the office with some kind of expensive mouth wash that left me wondering why I bought into it.
Tremendous turnover with the hygienist, seems like I had a different one ever time.

She was very friendly and did a thorough examination on my teeth. However, when I came in for a teeth cleaning, she and her assistant spent less than 10 minutes on me, which would have been fine if my teeth were perfectly clean after that. But I still felt plaque and grime on parts that she seemed to have missed. Her office staff is also very nice and are very knowledgeable of many types of insurance workings so they file your claim forms for you and charge you up front for what you owe. I thought my exam, teeth cleaning,and xrays were pretty expensive compared to what I've had in the past.

I went to Dr. Hegde's office because it was 2 blocks away from my house. Dr. Hegde is extremely thorough and explains everything that is going on in your mouth, even giving you a mirror, laying you back & explaining things in detail. I had extremely bad teeth problems not having been to the dentist in YEARS. She made me feel at ease and I really liked her staff. The only discomfort you'll feel is that 1st prick (which is dulled by numbing gel) the rest is a breeze! She has very careful, gentle hands. One appt. I needed gum surgery, the next day I didn't even feel a thing. She's great, I recommend her to anyone and will be sending my son and husband to her also.

Dr Hegde seems very professional and skilled in her work. She has good bedside manner and is always in good spirits.
She seems genuinely concerned for patient comfort and satisfaction.
Her office is a bit outdated in decor, and it would be nice to have less rollover in her assisting staff (I don't seem to ever get the same people twice), but I trust her with my teeth and have recommended her to others.
