I cannot comment on the quality of work- he was so incredibly rude and unpleasant that I walked out. As a third year medical school student (he was not aware of my exposure to the medical field), I would like to say that NOTHING is more important than bedside manner. Shame on you, Dr. Cauldermeyer. I wouldn't treat a repeat criminal with the same level of disrespect as you treated me. Answer patient questions-- they are asking, not to have you brush them off as though they are wasting your time, but because they are seeking to tap into your knowledge. Certainly you have five minutes to answer questions without acting like the patient is stupid and wasting your time. I was disgusted with my experience and am embarassed that people may mistake this pompous joke as representative of the rest of us health CARE professionals.

About Hygienist: Everyone else in the office was abolutely lovely, highly professional, and high quality in patient care.

I am in the process of doing dental implants. The work Dr. Caldemeyer and his operating staff is wonderful. There are no complications and pain is minimal. However, I was very disappointed in his front desk staff. It took 3 people to explain to me a balance due on my account. The amount I was to pay varied depending on the person trying to get the money from me. The 3rd person rudely asked if she needed to "break it down" for me. Upon "breaking it down", it turned out that I have a $300 CREDIT. Not one person apologized for the mistake or the 30 minutes I spent figuring out the charges. The shortness and rudeness of the staff were apparent. I still have a couple more follow up appointments and I dread having to see the front office staff upon checking in. Be sure to double check your costs and insurance coverages. I went from owing $1200 to having a $300 credit. I would not recommend this facility simply because of the lack of customer service given.

Dr. Caldemeyer did a great job. I had all four wisdom teeth removed and one of the teeth was asbcessed. I was worried about the possibllilty of pain or permanent numbness if he touched or damaged a nerve. But the procedure is complete and I'm healing well and doubt I will have any lasting effects. The front desk people are also very nice and the waiting room at the Walnut St. location, is plush, beautiful and comfortable.

Dr. Caldemeyer and his staff exhibited the highest professionalism. The facilities are top-notch and the service level very high. The procedure I went through was an implant of the socket in the lower jaw. Even though I was only under nitrous oxide, it was painless and not really uncomfortable. They weren't the least expensive in town, but do you really want to skimp on your surgeon? Not me!
