Dr Porter is great. In between patients, he tells jokes, plays his banjo and tap dances. He is very gentle and kind, gives no pain. What a happy place!

About Hygienist: Dr Porter and his hygienist tell funny stories while they work on the teeth. Last time I was in for a cleaning , the two of them sang a and harmonized to a cute duet version of The Old Mill Stream. Before I knew it, my cleaning was complete. Dr Porter is known for always wearing tap shoes, just in case he’s inspired to tap a little dance. I just love him and his while office staff.

I have been using Dr. Porter for 15 years...I have never had any extensive dental work done...he has however recommended additional dental services but with no pressure...I found him to be professional, prompt and very experienced in his field

About Front Desk: Joanne at the front desk has always been very polite and helpful

About Hygienist: The hygienist is great...she is attentive and knowledgeable

I started to visit Dr. Porter after my wife passed on, 10 years ago. He has taken care of my fillings, crowns and now implant. He is old school, and does an excellent job. He sincerely cares about his patients, and always does an excellent job. I highly recommend him for your entire family.

About Front Desk: Joanne is extremely nice and polite. She has been with Dr. Porter for as long as I have been going for the last 10 years. She does everything possible to reduce your cost and anxiety that comes with Dental Care, and Surgery.

About Hygienist: I absolute Love his Hygienist. She is very sweet and caring. Veronica is the best Hygienist that I have known. I have visited a number of different Dentist, and she like, Dr Porter are the best.

Dr Porter is a professional with vast experience and strictly business when it comes to treatment. My experiences regarding diagnosis, treatment and follow up, along with fair cost has always been very satisfactory. .

I had root canal therapy with crown 4 years ago.The root canal therapy was excruciating.The tooth did not seem to numb and dr was becoming very angry and impatient.When I told him, he stabbed the needle so forcefully into my gums,I had tremendous pain and heard the needle entering, making a sickening squeaky noise.He proceeded even though I was not numb- I was frightened to complain again and the tooth was half open so felt I couldn't leave.Looking back, I should not have let him continue and walked out, but instead i finished the procedure with minimal numbing. Now I've learned that the root canal was not successful- I knew the tooth wasn't right before I even walked out the door that day. I left the appt soaked in sweat and shaking -which he didn't seem to notice. I let him place the crown as no numbing was needed and that went smoothly but I never returned after that. Now waiting to see if I will end up loosing this tooth. This tooth will once again cost a small fortune and is quite anxitey provoking after this experience.I'm aware that root canal therapy is never a guarantee that the tooth will be ok and if it fails it is NOT drs fault. However there is never an excuse for a patient being in the kind of pain I experienced

Very questionable x-rays. Would not share with another dentist in town. Dr Porter cleaned my teeth for 6 minutes. When he could not sell me a dental implant he cleaned my teeth. Very bad experience. Avoid this dentist!!!!!!
