The charge may be in average, but the material and lab they use may be the cheapest. Sloppy jobs and not in details.

In my experience Dr. Lee was absolutely the first dentist who actually really cared about any of my concerns treatment and whether I was uncomfortable in the chair. I have always felt that he has been careful and prudent about the process and procedure of whatever is needed. Dr Lee does not 'push' for unneeded procedures and has always been ethical in his practice. I have. and will continue to, recommended his services to anyone.

Dr. Lee provided two procedures on me in one week: a tooth bonding to fix a chipped tooth, and crown procedure for a more permanent fix. The bond in my tooth fell off the morning after my procedure, the temporary crowns placed on my 2 front teeth fell off less than 24 hrs. after they were put in. Another dentist looked at my temp. crowns and said they were "sub-standard." Dr. lee is not very good, nor professional. During my crown procedure, while in the middle of it, he stopped and ate an early lunch next to me while i still had my mouth wide-open! In that same session, he had other patients come into the room to discuss their next appointments, while i sat in the chair waiting for my procedure to end. Dr. Lee is the most unprofessional professional I've ever seen - don't go to him.

He's very friendly, but I can see why some people might be put off by his casual behavior. He's not the best or worst dentist I've ever been to but he gets the job done. I haven't had any problems.

Originally went to Dr Lee for a periodic oral evaluation and cleaning plus repair of a broken partial denture. Dr. Lee did not do a complete evaluation and never did the cleaning even though I reminded him twice. It took 7 months to get my partial denture back - because there was a very poor fit the first time (3 weeks after I gave him the denture) and then he kept making excuses for the denture not being ready until he admitted that the denture was lost (blamed the lab) and that he had to have a new denture made. The new denture was a very poor fit with the teeth not matching my existing teeth. Based on my decades of experiences with other dentists (I am from California) Dr. Lee is the most incompetent dentist I ever had and shows no interest in excellence in his work.

Office smells. Receptionist is difficult to communicate with. Equipment is outdated. Dr. Lee talks way too much. Will not be returning.

I don't usually slam people; but he had no personal skills (or chair-side manners) and hardly explained anything that was going on. I have braces and have had several procedures during my lifetime because of my activities, this guy knew how to cause some pain for just a cleaning. It wasn't too difficult getting an appointment...now I kind of know why. I told me wife never to go, because the environment including the actual tools and equipment was archaic. We switched to Dr. El-Haje; not so sure that was the best yet...jury is still out.

Upon walking into the office, you are overwhelmed by a stale smell. His receptionist gives you a chilly greeting and you wait in the waiting area, where it does not appear to be the cleanest. He does not have his own dental hygentist and his equipment is quite outdated. I will not be scheduling any follow-up appointments with Dr. Richard Lee.
