While doing a refill of an old amagam filling for my wife, he was extremely rough jerking her head and jaw around. While we thought little of it, the results were that her jaw was sore for more than two weeks and on the next day a very black and blue circle about the size of a silver dollar appeared on her face along the jaw bone to her neck below the filling.
In sixty years of dentists this was only the second dentist to cause so much pain to either one of us and the first one was during the removal of a mult-prong rooted wisdom tooth when I was in the US Navy. Neither one of us or our children (now grown) ever had such an uncomfortable experience for a filling or anything else.
