Dr. Kattaura is a fine dentist. Unfortunately, the office where she works, Bright Now Dental on 1955 Arapahoe St in Denver, is overbooked and, as a consequence, patients end up waiting and waiting and waiting. During a recent root canal, the dentist and her assistant left me halfway thru the procedure with no warning. As I sat with a giant hole in my tooth and a plastic trampoline attached to my face, I heard the doctor examine two other patients. This lasted at least 30 minutes. I finally got the attention of an office staff member who said, "I don't work in that area," and disappeared without sending anyone to explain what was happening.
When the Doctor did return, she did not acknowledge her absence, much less apologize. After a few more minutes of work, she disappeared again, examined two other patients and returned to finish the job.
I have a temporary filling in my tooth and I need to get a crown. These issues will be addressed by another dentist.
Dr. Kattaura did competent work, but the workload appears to be driving her and the rest of the staff at Bright Now Dental into a state of customer service incompetence.
