Friendly dentist and staff. I went there to have some cavities fixed and he did a good job.

Dr Rankin has been a pleasure to work with. I have been with him since early in his career. I have stayed with him despite insurance changes throughout my career - simply because I trust him, I respect him, and I think he does excellent work.

About Hygienist: Most of Dr Rankin's hygienists have been with him for a long time. They supply a gentle and thorough cleaning, while carrying on converstations like you had just walked out of the office the day before. I appreciate the care, the converstation, and the wonderful people that they are...

I've had several crowns put in by other dentists - they were very poorly done and even the wrong color. My husband and I switched to Dr Rankin and absolutely love him. We've both had major work done by him - root canal and crowns; and he does an excellent job. When a time came to do a root canal that he was not comfortable with, he referred me out to a endodontist. We more than trust him with all our dental care. We only wish we had found him sooner.

About Hygienist: the hygienist is very friendly and does an excellent job.

Dr. Rankin is excellent. He is very knowledgable and has a wonderful demeanor. Dr. Rankin also provides excellent referrals. I was referred to the best oral surgeon when I had my wisdom teeth out in college. And most importantly, my teeth always look and feel great after a visit!

About Hygienist: Many members of his staff have been with him for a long time as well. Susie, my dental hygienist, has been there 10 years and always remembers what I shared with her on the last visit and is thoughful to inquire about any updates I have for her (work, family, etc...). I am a smoker and self conscience about the stains that result from smoking, but Susie always gets it all off and my teeth back to pearly white. She is gentle and I never leave with a sore mouth.

Great chair-side manner, thorough explanations. Helpful staff, lots of integrity and honesty. Very conservative treatment, not out to inflate the services needed. Available after-hours when needed for follow-up consultation. Great results, takes his time with the job, meticulous, no rushing. Would not even consider going to another dentist. Prices slightly on the high side, but you get what you pay for. My mom has had trouble with dentists for many years and I've offered to fly her to Dallas just to see him -- if only she would.

Dr. Rankin is the best dentist I have ever been to, and I have been to many at this point. My insurance kept changing around, and I had to leave him, at which point I tried 4 different dentists in the area without success (and a few misdiagnoses). One of these even told me he couldn't really numb my whole tooth (so I felt most of the procedure). I decided to forget my insurance and go back to Dr. Rankin, who proceded to do a thorough exam and find the source of my problem, all in a matter of minutes. He has so much experience, and a great chair-side manner. I am willing to pay out-of-pocket to get the job done right by Dr. Rankin!
