I HATE going to the dentist. Dr. Zola is the best I have ever had. EVER!

His office lost my insurance information FIVE times! I provided it each time I visited and to Zola himself when I said I was tired of receiving incessant bills for a teeth cleaning & x-rays 100% covered by my insurer.
When I requested a copy of my X rays to see a new, competent dentist, Zola refused to provide them. Because it took Zola 7 months to finally bill my insurer, I was stuck having to pay for a new full set of X-rays.
In summary, he was the least helpful medical provider I've seen in my entire life. The office looks great, but there's no there there.
About Hygienist: She was fine. It's the Dentist who's derelict.

Dr. Zola's office is by far the friendliest dentist office I've ever been. If it wasn't for the difficulty of finding parking in Westwood Village, I'd give his office 5 stars. Sometimes, my insurance bill does not get filed the first time, but eventually it does. And I have had a pain in my molar that never seems to get addressed even though I bring it up at all my routine cleaning appointments. Got a prescription bleaching a few years back and it was very effective, although a bit expensive, as was my night guard. Overall, it's never a chore to go to the dentist, just wish it was more accessible.

He is extremely kind and thoughtful. He helped me with teeth grinding by prescribing a quality night guard. I find that he prescribes only what is absolutely necessary and prefers conservative treatment options. He and his staff are caring and professional
About Hygienist: I see Marilyn. She is very good, thorough, and conscientious. I feel she is also a very pleasant person and does a good job.

Outstanding patient care and follow through, both by Dr. Zola and his staff. Very patient and very responsive to his patients.
About Hygienist: Once again, a first-rate job, as much of a pleasure as going to the dentist could possibly be.

Dr. Zola is a top notch dentist. I had a problem with a filling (that he did not do ) that two other dentists tried to fix unsuccessfully. But Dr. Zola was able to fix the problem easily much to my surprise. He is very knowledgable and precise with his work. I recommend him highly.

Fine practice.
As a new patient I only saw Dr. Zola himself the first visit. Since then it has been a rotation of interns. They were fine, but a different detist each time doesn't make me any more comfortable.
The billing office forgot to bill my insurance and sent me a bill, which took some time to clear up.
