This office takes my insurance, which means they take a considerable write off for their services. They would not do this if financial incentive was their goal. Dr. Barclay works at Cancer Care Alliance and approaches her dentistry as a physician would. She treats what is necessary to treat and I never feel that she would suggest unnecessary work. She spends a lot of time getting to know her patients and many, including myself, have followed her over the years. The staff is stable, and I trust everyone in the office.

About Hygienist: They have 3 or 4 hygienists who have worked there for years. They all have their own technique but I always feel clean afterwards. Some are more chatty than others.

Continued treatment for several problems relating to having had radiation to the head/neck area. Chairside manner excellent, office staff wonderful, assistants very good also. Always a treat to be treated!! Yes, I want to recommend Dr. Petra Barclay most highly. Positive best in my area and four stars.

About Hygienist: I will see their hygienist for the fist time in April.

The last time I was in the office, a dental assistant put a rubber dam on my mouth and then left me in the room for over 15 minutes with it still on. No procedure had begun - we were just waiting for Dr. Barclay to come in. I finally took the dam off myself so I could leave. When I found another dentist, I inquired about where Dr. Barclay was going to drill and he told me it wasn't really a cavity. Now, three years later with no filling, the tooth is still doing fabulous. I wonder how many of my husbands fillings were necessary.
