My son is a patient of Dr. Bato. As he is in the early stages of implants, I cannot rate the ultimate success (I rated it because I had to in order to post), but the work that has been done so far is excellent. Dr. Bato is one of the kindest and most compassionate dentists that we have dealt with over the last 20 years! My son has a genetic defect (whose name I can never remember) which leaves him with no enamel on his teeth. We've been to numerous dentists, specialists, etc. since he was 2 years old. The restorative work that he needs done is financially astronomical - even with insurance. In order to reduce the costs, we took him to the School of Dentistry at USC. Dr. Bato is working with the student in charge of his case and recently performed the extraction of all of his upper teeth (lower teeth in a few weeks). I was so impressed and thankful with her work (excellent) and her follow-up care (beyond excellent)! Previously, my son was a patient at the International School of Dentistry at Loma Linda. The care that he has received at USC is so far above the treatment he received at Loma Linda. I highly recommend the school at USC - especially if cost is a factor - because their treatment, procedures and care has been EXCELLENT!!
