Once you can get past the stern chairside manner of Dr. Joffe, she provides adequate dental work. Her office is very consistent with keeping in touch with patients on their 6 month checkups. The front desk is always helpful. Billing has never been an issue. I have never had to get extensive work done with Dr. Joffe so cost wise I could not really comment well.

Very root canal happy doctor... get a second opinion!!! She does root canals and crowns well enough, but two yrs and I have to replace the crown already. Also, I went to her because I suspected part of a filling fell out and she ended up drilling too deep "investigating" and all of a sudden I had pain in the tooth... so she all of a sudden wants to do another root canal when she knew very well she drilled too deep. I had no pain before she checked the tooth out. And before I even agreed to the second root canal, she had already charged me for it. Very shady!!

Generally good. A little painful. My biggest complaint is her facilities. I would have liked the option for better pain treatment.

No issues thus far, however, I have only had teeth cleanings. She is very fast.

very unprofessional - not interested in discussing my options on my teeth - interested in charging more although services may not be absolutely necessary, very rough work often resulting in pain on the procedures.

I also had unsatisfactory visits with Dr. Joffe. Also requiring more than an exam & cleaning. I was told I needed gum cleaning which required 2 more visits - also painful. Not a very gentle dentist. This dentist makes you feel that she perscribes visits and treatments based on what your insurance will cover. I felt as if I was being milked for my dental insurance money and not what I REALLY needed.
I later changed dentists. The new dentist did not agree that my gums required all that work done on them.

Long wait. Very abrupt and painful cleaning my teeth then recommended a deep root cleaning. Went to new dentist 2 months later and was told all I needed was a good cleaning! Every appointment I made "needed" to be rescheduled several times. The worst was 3 times in one week. Also had a very difficult time getting my xrays for my new dentist.
