I went to her for teeth cleaning a few times and thought she was ok but I was wrong when I got 3 cavities on a later visit.
I had 3 fillings done at Dr. Hsu. I had 2 fillings on day one and 1 filling a week later. The whole week after the first 2 fillings, I was in constant pain 24 hours. I kept taking Advil every few hours just to make the pain bearable. I was stupid in going in 1 week later to let her fill the last cavity.
When I started eating after getting the last filling, it hurt everytime I bite on food. I ended up switching dentist because my brother said it shouldn't hurt at all after getting cavities filled.
I went to another American dentist my sister used and he took an xray. There was a bubble in the 3rd filling. He also said Dr. Hsu drilled excessively when filling my cavities. My new dentist would have to refill 2 out of the 3 fillings because it was done wrong (gap and bubble).
After a few months of small pain, I get 1 infection on the first tooth and have to get a root canal and crown. Over a year later now, I find out the 2nd tooth now has an infection and will need a root canal and crown too.
I'm really sad that my teeth are permanently harmed by going to Dr. Pauline Hsu.
