Dr. Abjanich is an extraordinary human being in addition to being a top prosthodontist and dentist (but he doesn't do many dental procedures anymore). He teaches dentistry at Columbia and helps innovate procedures as well as keeping up to date with the latest technology. His work is exemplary and he cares about his patients and staff sincerely; his chairside manner is as entertaining as it is relaxing and professional; he tells you everything he's about to do (and how it might feel). He's had the same wonderful staff since I began going to his office in 1994. When he's away and an emergency arises, his partner, Dr. Goldin, takes care of his patients. Dr. James Abjanich is the best dental professional and person in the world. He is more than generous with his time and services. None of his procedures is covered by insurance, as they're all cosmetic, and he isn't inexpensive, but he hasn't charged me for any adjustments I've had to have done. He has his own lab and he uses the best materials. No one can tell any of his patients have had work done, under optimum circumstances. He also gives excellent referrals to orthodontists, and he works out payment arrangements for the prosthodontic work he does. Dr. Abjanich is A++++!
