Dr. Akhlaghi exhibits skill, professional demeanor and exemplary patient care, that include clear explanations of procedures as well as follow-up phone calls after treatments. I would highly recommend her for dental implants!

Although Dr. Akhlaghi is extremely pleasant, I didn't have a very good experience with her doing my implants. The implant had to be done twice. I believe that the second surgery could have been avoided if she simply would have taken further precautions after the first surgery (such as not putting in the post yet) to increase my chances of a successful implant. The implant was place in one of my front teeth and there were so many complications. I was going in every week to get a replacement temporary tooth because if it was even tapped by my toothbrush it would become loose.
After the second implant surgery she took greater precautions, but that cost me more money to get it done and the first surgery was already expensive. Furthermore, the second implant surgery caused my tooth next to the area which is also a crown, to become loose and create an infection and now I have to get an additional implant surgery on that tooth. Needless-to-say, I will not be going back to her to get it.
Furthermore, she would rush through my follow-up appointments because she constantly overbooked herself.
I think Dr. Akhlaghi is a wonderful dentist, however, she is not a good implant specialist. I would recommend going to someone else.

Dr. Akhlaghi is absolutely wonderful! She's by far the best dentist I've ever had! I would strongly recommend her to anyone. And her staff is great too!
