This doctor is rude and nasty. He only cares about money and could not care less about the patients. Please find someone who actually cares about patients. ADVOID THIS DOCTOR.

I know this doctor: Transferred to him from another partner

Dr. Rosenstein did my cleanings for a number of years, and occasionally warned me that since I had some bone loss (which occasionally caused infections which he would give me medication to cure) someday I might need surgery. A month ago, I broke one tooth biting into a piece of candy. I opted for extraction by an oral surgeon, no bridge, no implants, just the minimum. There are many fine periodontists who are enthusiasts of implants. Indeed, the articifial tooth does cover the gum. But how advises on care of a piece of gum which just sits in the mouth, unadorned by a tooth?

About Hygienist: No hygienist was involved in my care, although there are lots of them floating around.

Dr. Rosenstein used a special kind of sand paper to remove stains between the teeth. Dentists I have been to since then mistakenly refer to these stains as "decay" as if they believe the patient is too stupid to understand distinctions. Why do dentists "talk down" to patients? But the sandpaper approach is superior to drilling. He also took X-rays to check for bone loss. Sometimes I can stick a toothpick between my tooth and gum to check for bone loss. But last week I did not have a toothpick so I used a knitting needle and had to see an emergency doctor from the resulting infection. Sometimes I wish our differences of opinion re correct medication had not resulted in the termination of treatment, because he did get many things right.

Dr. Rosenstein has a beautiful, magnificent office, because he is surrounded by people who have fabulous taste in everything. He is the most conscientious professional in the office, and the only one who will go to great lengths to avoid causing pain to a patient. He in fact will experience great stress and anxiety if he thinks anyone has hurt a patient. Always make sure you ask for Dr. Rosenstein, ahead of any other person in his office. It's worth the wait!
