Not only is he a rip off and a con artist, but he doesnt know what he is doing. He has the worse sense of humor, and to top it all off, he tried to numb me and the syringe hit a structure in my mouth and I felt like electricity ran through my mouth all the way to the bottom of my feet. He blamed me for moving, and you damn right I moved, after he hit my nerve with a the metal syringe. He said he was having a bad day, AS IF THAT MAKES IT OK. he better has a used car salesman than a prof dentist.

Terrible experience, really ripped off, felt like i just was rubbed when he "explained" the prices., was stupid to pay ahead of the work done.
About Front Desk: I guess they were trained by the doctor to rip off customers. They were good for him, but bad for the customers.

APRIL 2012 - Absolutely terrible experience - I had 3 RCTs and 4 Filings performed under sedation over a 6 hour session. His pricing for the same procedure was X4 of what it is in Stamford CT - I was literally ripped off because I worked nearby even when my insurance cover was over and it was now going to be out of pocket - his Biller/Receptionist is extremely unprofessional - fast talking, as if one was at a car-garage - eager to rake-up the highest set of procedures(literally viewed me as a "gravy train*). The cost of the first set of procedures was approx 6K and the second which was initially priced as approx 10K was rapidly negotiated down to under 5K because he wanted to "keep me a patient"I left with the work half completed and returned to my CT dentist who even without sedation undertook the remaining crown rebuilds etc at a fair 3K. I had just returned back to the US from work assignment in Switzerland and this was the poorest dental service I have ever received in my life - even my own work colleagues were mortified when they saw me and my bills!
NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!
About Hygienist: His hygienists and radiographer are excellent/mild-mannered and highly professional.

Dr. Jacobson is very friendly and personable. He makes me at ease with his good humor and jokes. He is very competent as a doctor and has a flexible mind that can my concerns and ailments and make a detailed and insightful diagnosis. I recommend him.
