Dr Packman has GOOD HANDS. He restored my self esteem. He treats my mouth with care. I went to Dr Packman, crying, because I needed a tooth removed and did not want to have a missing tooth. His demeanor calmed my anxiety. On my initial visit to Dr Packman he examined my mouth and fully explained what he saw and his course of treatment. Before the implant procedure could begin it was necessary I received surgery on the upper left and right areas of my mouth for pockets. He’s thorough. He took his time and when my mouth was ready, implant work began. I am so pleased I found Dr Packman. I count him a blessing. He saved my mouth. Thanks Dr Packman.

I went to this dentist to begin periodontal work. I clearly expressed to this dentist my concerns with the previous dentist I have seen not giving me full prices before beginning work. Dr. Packman assured me they would be honest and fair. An evaluation was performed and I was told I would be sent information on recommendations and costs. I then received email with price and procedure recommended. Two attempts in writing to contact Office with questions were left unanswered. I obtained new dental insurance and asked again for answers to questions and new prices with new insurance. Today I arrive at office to discuss procedure and options and prices with the Dr. only to find out prices quoted of $5,000 only covers 1/4 of my mouth. Dr was very vague about procedure he was suggesting, would not discuss prices. I was amazed office could only give me quote for 1/4 of my mouth. I asked the office staff to give me quote for my WHOLE mouth and I left. I then received voicemail asking me to find another Periodontist. Be aware of hidden prices (totally 3/4 of your mouth) and also of not being provided full information on surgery dr wanting to perform.

About Front Desk: Front Desk staff provides you with only 1/4 of the pricing information and has yet (since October and it is now February) answered any email I have sent.

I had work done 12 years ago and again in December. I love this guy's personality. The waiting room is beautiful and I did not have to wait more than 10 minutes every time. The receptionists are polite and have a sense of humor. Too bad it costs so much but I imagine it was no more than any other periodondist.

My general dentist recommended that I see a periodontist about a possible frenectomy. Before receiving the frenectomy, I have to have a consultation. Thus it is a drawn out process. I chose Dr. Packman, only after checking his website, which suggests the fact that he performs frenectomies, and after calling his office, which confirmed the fact that he performs frenectomies. Moreover, Dr. Packman assured me, at the consultation, that he does perform frenectomies and would do so with me. After the consultation, Dr. Packman and his office informed me that my insurance did not cover the procedure, and so it was going to cost me $480. Having spoken with an insurance representative prior to my consultation, I knew and, therefore, pointed out that ADA Code 7960 in my Schedule of Benefits specifically covers frenectomies. I was told that Dr. Packman would call me later that day. He never did. So I had my insurance company call them, and then I called the next morning. At that point, Dr. Packman informed me that he no longer performs frenectomies.
