Dr. is ok, his staff on the other hand, horrid. Just about the worst I have seen in my life! read my review on his office manager (I think she may be his wife??, not 100% sure though)

About Front Desk: Just like other reviews on here, I have to agree the Dr's staff is by far the most rude there is. His office manager yells and screams at me & my insurance company...(I see another reviewer posted the same exact thing)! Wow, im not surprised! She is bonafide INSANE! I really think she needs anxiety medication or anger management classes. She is the most unprofessional person I have come across in my 50 years...glad to see I wasnt alone. It was bizarre. This is the reason I will no longer go back there...ever. She talks at you, not to you...very very rude. Unbelievable she is. I wish I could give negative stars for his office lady.

Extraction -- His office manager is horrible. She yells and screams at me and my insurance company. I was quoted $200-400 for this extraction from Doctor P and Darlene is charging me $775. This is so unethical. I have been going to Dr. P for 30 years. I use to think this was a good practice, but since Darlene (Dr P's wife) started, all sorts of unethical things have happened. DONT GO HERE - they will rip you off.

Dr Richard Prendergast is not just competent, he is extraordinarily skilled. AND he is committed AND concerned AND his office staff is wonderful. He is extraordinarily collaborative with our Family Dentist. A very tricky cosmetic skin graft above four front caps looks perfect. HARD name to say, EASY Doctor to like. GREAT periodontal & implant resource to know about. One of the North Shore's top, five I'd venture to guess.

The staff at Dr Prendergast's office was not very friendly. In addition, i sought a second opinion from another periodontist in the area and i was horrified by the diagnosis that Prendergasts office gave me. They should have been doing a lot more for their patients...especially because they are specialists.
