Terrific Pediatric dentist. He really knows his stuff and has saved our son from having to have braces twice (he will still need them, but due to early care by Dr. Barron he will only need them once).

My son (PDD-NOS) would not even go in the exam room at his old dentist. From the very beginning, Dr. Barren's staff and he himself have been welcoming, encouraging, and had an excellent attitude. My son is not afraid to go there at all. The only downside is the cost, because he does not accept insurance.

My daughter had two baby teeth removed by Dr. Barren. She said that it hurt when he removed them. Dr. Barren responded by telling me that my 6 year old was quite the actress. My daughter left in tears. We have never had an experience like this with any dentist, and we won't return to Dr. Barren.

Outstanding dentist! Kids have been patient of his for over 15 years. Great office staff as well - very friendly. Dr. Barren treated my daughter's emergency dental injury and showed the same concern for her as he would have for his own daughter.

I think a pediatric dentist is really worth it. I brought my child to a "family dentist" at first but they don't have all the perks that kids need to make it an easier experience, such as a TV for kids to watch while their teeth are cleaned. The nurses and aides are very nice and smiling. I wish they could submit directly to my insurance though. I have to pay upfront and then get reimbursed.

I have two kids who go to Dr. Barren and he is fantastic. I am a picky person and like my appointments to run on time. Dr. Barren has lived up to every expectation. He is great with the kids who love going there. They are actually excited to go to the dentist. The office is spotless and fun. It is a family run business so everyone really cares about what they are doing. I have no experience with braces or teeth being pulled but the previous experiences listed are very surprising to me. I came on this site simply to find Dr. Barren's address for a form I was filling out but felt like I had to say something in response to these negative comments. I think he is the best and I know at least 10 other people whose kids go to him and love him.

I am a former patient of Dr. Barrens, I am now an adult. I would not suggest anyone to bring their children to him. Maybe my experience was rare, but the last time I went to him was the "last" time I went to him. When filling a cavity I began to feel pain, when I expressed my pain to him he ripped off the equipment in a huff and putt more novicane into my mouth replaced the equipment back into my mouth and continued while I was still in pain. He informed me that I would just have to bare with it for a few more minutes until he was done as I was grabing and trying to rip off the arms of the chair. Horrible Experience.

Although I'm now an adult, I'm a former patient of Dr. Barren. I would not recommend him. When he pulled my tooth, it was a messy job (blood everwhere!), and it caused me great pain. A few years later, he diagnosed me as having an extra tooth and tried to convince my parents to take me to an oral surgeon (they didn't, and the supposed tooth never came in). I still wouldn't take my children to this dentist.
