Arrogant, rude & impersonal. Part of a large, McDentist office. Bureaucratic factory environment. I have waited up to 40 min. before being called, while up to 10 staff in smocks wandered around the reception & chatted. My child had xrays over a year ago, & they noted watch spots. They were supposed to take xrays 6 mos later. My child went, but was upset by the experience, so they didn't take xrays. But, they didn't follow up a week later, or even take xrays at the next cleaning 3 mos later. So, even though my child went every 3 mos for cleaning, 1 yr after the initial xrays, my child needed major dental work ($1,700-$3,000+). I went for a "free" consult on the situation & asked why they didn't follow up on the 6 mo. xrays, as there is now major, expensive, upsetting dental work needed for a small child. Dr. Amodeo stared blankly at me for a long time & said nothing. He later said I should go elsewhere. (They have so many patients, it's OK to lose an upset one.) He had to read the chart throughout the consult, because he didn't know the case or my child. He wasn't concerned about the oversight or the horrible resulting situation. After the FREE consult, he told his asst to charge me $95! (he must not have read that note).
