Their office staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. It seems they take delight in being rude to people. I asked them if they were a contracted provider for my insurance plan, and they said yes. (My insurance informed me they are not.) Later I got a large bill for the portion of the exam my insurance didn't cover and they claim they never told me they were contracted. I asked for financial consideration on the bill and they said simply "it's not going to happen." Unprofessional and rude. Also, I feel the dentist tried to bully me into doing x-rays on my 3 year old child, which I had not intended to do. Now I can see he just wanted the money. This is a greedy, self-serving man. Do not subject yourself or your children to this office!
About Front Desk: Incredibly rude, unprofessional. Very unhelpful with regard to insurance. I believe they intentionally misled me to believe they took my insurance, but they in fact did not. Called me a liar.

Dr. Brostoff is a wonderful dentist. He was wonderful with our children and I truly enjoyed working with him.
Unfortunately, his office staff and billing department are way less than to be desired.

We had our two daughters go to Dr. Brostoff's office and now they are grown and my 21 year old still goes back to him. He is what you would expect from a country dentist with the skill of seasoned professional. The front desk with Sherrie is painless as well. She is very polite and knowledgable.
We highly recommend them.

I take both my daughters Jamie (6 yrs) and Joie (4 yrs) to Dr. Brostoff.
Both the doctor and his staff are extremely good with small children. They are patient and kind. The office is kid-friendly and the waiting area has chairs for kids shapped like a tooth. It's a fun environment.
They showed by girls how to brush and explained why. They receive stickers, a new tooth brush & paste with every exam/cleaning.
The best part is Dr. Brostoff meets with the parent (& child) about the exam and his recommendations.
I drive 30 miles from my home in Walnut to keep my kids happy & motivated about their dental care.

Very good pediatric dentist. Office staff and biling staff are a big problem. The heavy-set lady running the front desk and answering the phones is very lazy. Unfortunately, she is responsible for reconciling patient bills against payments from insurance companies (i.e., Delta Dental). If billing personnel mis-code or mis-bill the insurance company, and as a result the Dr. is paid less than should have been the case, the office staff do not identify the problem because they do not perform a reconciliation. Consequently, the office just keeps billing the patient for the difference, even though the explanation of benefits from the insurance company states that the patient has no further financial responsibility. This is just pure laziness on the part of office staff, sometimes results in overpayments by patients, and is unacceptable.
I have had to correct 2 such problems for the office staff by making personal calls to Delta Dental to clear up the office staff's mistakes. The heavy-set receptionist has been just plain rude and unprofessional, once telling me she could recommend a different dentist if I did not like their billing practices. This is unfortunate, because Dr. Brostoff is a quality dentist, just has bad help.

Dr. Brostoff and his staff are wonderful. They helped my son get over his fear of dentists and they have been able to successfully treat him without general anesthesia, which was recommended by our last dentist. He is kind, patient, and very quick, and never keeps us waiting more than 5 minutes. I love the fact that he works with his patients, in that he doesn't force them to stay in his chair longer than they feel comfortable doing, even if it means another visit. His office staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and they made us feel welcome everytime we came in. I have recommended him to several friends and will continue to do so. Although my son is still not excited about going to the dentist, he no longer fears the experience and is both calm and cooperative during checkups.

Dr. Brostoff has been my dentist for many years. He and his staff have done a great job in my dental care. They are professional and friendly. Their work is thorough and careful.

He is wonderful with children. The staff is great, the office is clean and very comfortable. My daughter looks forward to going to the dentist.
