braces. I was told before beginning treatment that it would correct overbite and jaw clicking problem. Well overbite is better, jaw clicking became worse. Also, the treatment he used impaired my speech for half a year. He didn't tell me about it upfront even though he knew that I am a professor and need to teach classes. When I had to transfer to another doctor, he kept charging me for the schedule he couldn't keep up. Finally, when I moved and tranferred to another doctor, who charges only half of his price and corrected issues from Dr. George's treatment. I wasn't told that I had to pay for the three months I didn't receive service. He filed claim to court through his lawyer, knowing that I wouldn't go to the court for the case since I moved to a thousand miles ago. Worst experience ever, avoid him! try doctors in Lafayette.

I had saved for yrs. to have braces. Of the 3 orthodontists I interviewed he was only one to say I did not need to have a tooth pulled prior to braces, he said that my bite would be corrected, TMJ eliminated and have them on for 1 1/2 yrs. 2 1/2 years later treatment was done, braces were off, my TMJ and alignment is worse than ever. My general dentist tells me I lisp because I now have an overbite (because tooth that should have been removed to make room) My teeth were short and small to begin with are now shorter. I asked him why - they don't look right - he shrugged saying it is part of procedure. I was diligent about doing everything for my teeth to turn out the best they could. Each time I asked him a question he would just shrug and say "I don't know - you must not be ...wearing your retainer, rubber bands..." Anything to not take responsibility. Even the retainer he made for me - he questioned me the next visit where I got it. This was a terrible mistake that I will have to live with the rest of my life, $5700 hard earned thrown away, plus embarrassment and time. $500 non refundable up front kept me there. To try to work with a lisp and have hard time chewing plus how my teeth look-it is terrible. $$ over ethical dentistry

I had treatments with him for 10months, costing roughly $2700 dollars. Also because of his scheduling problem, I missed one regular treatment ( gap between treatments normally is 5-7 weeks), so the time in between two treatments is10 weeks, he still charges you the monthly fee ! I moved to St louis and transfferedr to another doc. His fees is half of Dr. George's, and the service is much better. In fact, after consulting two orthodontists in St. Louis, both docs told me that Dr. George's treatments cause my front teeth missing the center line. It took another treatment to correct this issue. All in all, I would not recommend this dontist.
