Do NOT go here if you have a class 3 malocollusion (underbite). Warshawsky has a reputation for using wilkodontics on every single patient who has a jaw abnormality. If you have heard you need orthognathic surgery, you need orthognathic surgery. Do not let him be "creative" and drill off parts of your teeth to make things "work". You will get cavities and need root canals etc (another person has written about this on yelp..check the reviews out). If you go to Warshawsky make sure he understands what YOU want and make sure he takes his time. Otherwise he will cut corners and push teeth in places they shouldn't be to give you a cosmetic appearance that most likely is nothing near what it should be and probably won't even look great cosmetically either. I had a SUPER bad experience with him. And will need to get braces AGAIN to fix what he did wrong. Do not go to him. Go somewhere else. Also, he tries to shuffle his patients onto other orthodontists to do his work. Umm no your orthodontist is Warshawsky he should be making your adjustments ESPECIALLY if you have a jaw abnormality and hence a special case. Also watch that midline, don't let him let it get out of whack for the sake of being creative. Your midline is essential

To sum up in one sentence: terrible service and terrible outcome. The doctor is too busy to care about his patients. It's all about making money the fastest way possible. Would never recommend to anyone, except my enemy.

Neil Warshawsky's services are truly awful. What at first appears to be the mark of a convenient and dynamic practice- that there are four locations to choose from- quickly reveals itself to be a cheap swindle in which the patient very rarely sees an actual orthodontist, let alone Warshawsky. Patients must instead settle for "assistants" of questionable credentials, who often appear to be in their teens and aren't even dentists, let alone orthodontists. Even the credentials Warshawsky presented about himself changed with a website makeover, from having earned a degree at the University of Chicago, to having earned all his degrees at the University of Illinois at Chicago but having been a lecturer at the University of Chicago. Then nothing about the University of Chicago at all, the reason his service was chosen over many others. Warshawsky does verifiably operate one of his four shoddy service practices nearby in Hyde Park, however. Forget about the standard policy in which "the customer is always right." Should a bracket break, expect to be scolded for having broken rules on what not to eat, that you did not break, and charged an extra fee. The possibility of the care provider having made a mistake does not exist. If yo

You will see Dr. Warshawsky on very few of your total number of visits. This is because he runs 4 locations in which mostly questionably trained technician ladies tighten and adjust your braces, and Dr. Warshawsky is simply absent despite photographs of him displayed all over the place, along with placards engraved with his name. Or, the orthodontist who reviews your status isn't Dr. Warshawsky, who's somewhat desirable credentials lured you in to begin with. Your orthodontist at Dr. Warshawsky's office (whichever 1 of 4 you bound yourself to) turns out to be a transient newbie doctor attempting to acquire experience at your expense, such as Dr. Chicon or Dr. Cohen among others. This left me in a predicament where my teeth sank unusually low, and my midline shifted; my front teeth wound up too far left. Expect to be told to bring up such concerns next time. DO NOT think a major speech impediment is out of the question. My teeth were merely somewhat unsightly to me, but I could speak and bite without problems. Imagine all of the "S"s in this paragraph pronounced as an "H," and you'll have an idea of my results. And imagine biting into an apple with your side teeth from now on. And paying and suffering for it.

Expensive services, at superb facilities at the new Lincolnshire office. Office staff has always been extremely friendly. My son has been a patient since 4th grade, and is leaving for college soon. He had two or three years of braces and since then has had yearly retrainer checkups each year. We paid a flat rate of $2700 for my son's teeth. My daughter now needs braces and hers will be about $5500 for the same routine orthodontia services, prices sure have gone up over the last 8 years!

As an adult seeking treatment part of the problem here is the long wait, it really doesn't matter what time my appointment is I can expect to be there at least an hour if not longer for a 5 minute check. Very frustating.
