Explains what he is going to do as he goes along with the procedure. Careful not to cause you any pain. Very thorough. His assistants are very good and very comforting. I have had many procedures--cleanings, fillings, root canals, crowns, partial plate, upper denture. When I came to Dr. Schmidt my teeth and gums were already in poor shape. Excellent dentist! I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I went to Dr. Schmidt has a kid and then switched when I was in high school and he moved locations. About two years ago I went back to him because I have yet to find a dentist and staff like him! When I did he still had the same secretary from when I was 5! Now I am 28 and will not switch again!
About Hygienist: She is great and so sweet, she does a great job on my teeth and is not messy. My son went to his first appt. in June (he is 3) and she let him try out all the tools so he would feel comfortable, by the end he even let the dentist count his teeth!

Dr. Schmidt appears very competent and friendly. No complaints. This practice (including the hygienists) appear to be on the cutting edge of technology, and were able to help a sensitivity problem I've had for years where other dentists told me nothing could be done thanks to a new procedure that this office was aware of. The available hours are also a plus.
About Hygienist: Dealth with several different staff members there and one other dentist and have nothing but positive things to say--all are very friendly, competent, and listen well.

Dr. Schmidt and his staff are what keep me coming back, even as I have moved further from his offices. from the moment we (my young children and I) walk in the door we feel comfortable and welcomed. All the procedures (general apptms with cleaning, fillings, injuries, crown) are well explained and my physical and emotional comfort are always taken care of with a gentle word and a gentle touch and no rushing. My kids look forward to their dentist visits, imagine that!

Perfect! Been with him for a couple of decades and wouldn't change even if the new one were free. Excellent staff as well!
