Dr. Gutierrez and his office staff made my entire experience very enjoyable. A crown which had been done by a different dentist, had fallen out and taken a piece of my tooth with it. This made me extremely uncomfortable and self-conscious. Dr. Gutierrez's office manager was extremely kind and got me in the very next day. Dr. Gutierrez took what was otherwise a very upsetting experience and turned it into a positive. He not only fixed the crown, but improved upon it to make sure it would not fall out again. I can't be more thankful to Dr. Gutierrez, and all in all he made an emergency one of my best dental experiences.

Dr. Don Gutierrez is not my regular dentist I had to see Dr. Gutierrez on an emergency basis, my crown broke and my regular dentist was out of town. I am actually very content with my regular dentist, but after seeing the difference of the care and concern he has I was totally taken back. I didn’t realize there were dentist out here that sympathized with you. I was used to being pleased with the dental work and paying the large amount of cash that the insurance didn’t cover, NOT realizing each dental office sets there prices and insurance companies only pay a certain amount. Dr. Gutierrez and his staff are amazing, helpful, very caring, and Dr. Gutierrez prices are extremely reasonable I have never paid so little out of pocket. Example I paid $1025.00 for a very uncomfortable hard in and out mouth guard with my dentist and for a very comfortable mouth guard hard and soft that later found out that is very highly recommended is around $600.00. My regular dentist is charging me $800.00 for my permanent crown and Dr. Gutierrez is charging half that after insurance. Thanks to my emergency dental needs I found Dr. Gutierrez.

I found him to be very personable and easy to talk too. He tried not to be non judgemental about the state of my teeth which were in great need of repair. Though he recommended a lot of really needed work, he understood my financial situation. I was very pleased with the work he did perform and sincerely regret not being able to get my much needed dentures from him.

About Front Desk: It's been awhile so I don't remember names. The women in the front office always greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. Waiting time was very short! Everythinh was great unil they turned me over to collections for a bill I was unaware of. (My husbands treat)

About Hygienist: His name is Mark and he is GREAT! He took great pains not to hurt me while still doing an excellent cleaning! He was the first Hygenist that I saw every 6 months in my life!

I am very happy with Dr. Don Gutierrez, on Carlisle. I have Delta Dental, and he seems extraordinarily reasonable. When I didn't have Delta Dental, I went elsewhere, but it is worth it to come to Dr. Gutierrez. I tried 2 Dentists in Los Alamos, and it seems they can charge whatever they want, even when I had Delta Dental. I came back again to Dr. Gutierrez. They have a family dental center, and I have not needed to go to the other Dentists, but they are secure in their location, and may be practicing for a long time, as there are no Dental schools in NM.

About Front Desk: The receptionist and business people also seem to be very competent, and are friendly. I think they have stayed around for awhile also. Hopefully all employees are treated well.

About Hygienist: The Hygiensits are alway friendly, and they seem competent. They worked me in after 5pm on aThursday, for a slight emergency with my retainer, for which I am very greatful. Again, I had a similar mishap in Los Alamos, and they charged me over $300 (Gutierrez charged me ~$45.) I'm back to stay.

Dr. Gutierrez is the best!!!! He is the ONLY Dentist that truly cares about his patients health and well-being..

Dr. Gutierrez has been my dentist for a decade. He has responded quickly to minor emergencies, and does excellent work efficiently and with minimal discomfort. Perhaps more importantly, he and his staff are always so friendly and pleasant that it's like visiting family. When I am obliged to request a chenge of schedule, they never make feel that I am inconveniencing anyone, though I am sure it must be so. This review is my thanks for a decade of great treatment. Want to thank Dr Don and his entire staff who worked me into a busy scedule to address my need of repairing my chipped front tooth. I was received very well by everyone and his work was maticulous and perfect!!! So appreciated his help. We will continue to come to his office for all of our dental needs in the future.
