My tooth pain got so bad that I couldn't wait for my dentist to return from vacation, so I went in for an emergency visit. Dr. Jew was a miracle worker! He relieved my excruciating pain and diagnosed the problem effortless. He was also very patient and sensitive to my pain level. I was very impressed with him and his staff. His office staff were all so very nice and patient as well.

Everyone tells you how painful a root canal is. Dr. Jew did one for me nine years ago, and it was a piece of cake. Dr. Jew just did another for me, and this one was also as good an experience as one could want. Really, very minimal pain, and no swelling. This recent one was on a tooth that had three roots instead of two, and one of the roots was unusually long and not as straight as one would like. Dr. Jew was able to take care of it in spite of it being difficult. The tooth also had a brand-new veneer on it, and he was able to take care of the root canal without damaging the veneer. He also gets the job done with minimal time spent in his chair. I can't really comment on the cost since I didn't shop around for this, but the office took care of billing my insurance and only asked me to pay the co-pay at the time of service, rather than making me pay for the whole thing and then waiting to be reimbursed by insurance.

Dr Jew is an excellent endonist. He has performed 2 root canals for me with great success. I was referred to him after another dentist tried a root canal on a tooth unsuccessfully and then a month later said the tooth would have to be pulled. (After that dentist had put a crown over it!!) and charged me for it. Luckily Dr. Jew saved the tooth and I am a happy customer. I cannot reccommend Dr. Jew highly enough!!!

I have been to Dr. Jew for two root canals and both times he did a great job. The second time I was in extreme pain and sat crying in the waiting room. His staff got me in to see him right away. He is kind to his patients and to his staff, which is refreshing. He was also quite sympathetic about my pain as my husband ended up having to call him at home later in the evening. I also ended up getting a small refund from his office - seems my insurance covered more than expected. Cost is usual for root canals.

I can't comment on anything other than the customer service in the office. I didn't get a chance to see any of the endodonists although I waited 2 hours. They would have had me wait until 5:00 p.m. or later. As I stated to the receptionist, if I were told to be here at 4:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. I would be here. Waiting 2 hours is unacceptable without saying one word. I watched regularly scheduled patients wait more than one hour. It is unfathomable to me that the office wouldn't schedule emergency patients for late in the day (4:00 p.m.) or so. That way, everyone wins, the doctors, the regularly scheduled patients and the emergency patients......as well as the staff. Honestly, it was a joke. I went elsewhere for service

i went to dr jew for a root canal retreatment but it turned out that I need to have a dental surgery done instead to take out the upper part of my tooth because there was a horizontal fracture. dr jew did the surgery for me. he was great! he was knowledgeable, patient and very very calm. my confident in him grew tremondously after two visits. the surgery was definitely a sucess. it is a pity that he only works on rootcanal. i would be thrilled if he would be my primary dentist and take care of every aspect of my teeth! Trust me, you won't be disappointed if you go to dr. jew!

He finished a root canal that started with my student dentist at UCSF. He was referred to me by my regular dentist. Service was very good and he made the whole process as painless as possible.
