Absolutely the best experience. Dr. Peterson has performed several root canals on my teeth and every one has been painless, a success and several teeth that were recommended they be pulled by my dentist were actually saved by Dr. Peterson. I most highly recommend him to all. An amazing endondontist.

I was terrified at the prospect of having a root canal when my dentist for the past 20+ years assessed that to be the next step for treating a gigantic filling that had been replaced years ago and was now cracked. He sent me straight to Dr. Peterson using himself for testimonial to Dr. Peterson's skills as he (Dr. Corrigan) has all of his root canals with Dr. Peterson. I went, but only with the understanding that my first visit was to meet Dr. Peterson, gain an understanding of the whole procedure and bascially gain enough confidence to return - oh and for the Dr.'s to decide whether I'd need to start sedation before the procedure. Hey, I told you I was terrified. Well, when I returned home that evening and my husband asked "So, what did you think of Dr. Peterson? When I told him the procedure was done, he was floored! I echo sentiments expressed by each poster who commented on Dr. Peterson being focused on your comfort throughout the entire procedure. He is. His skilled hand actually put the root canal on par with having a cavity drilled and filled for me. Of course all the grinding and stuff for the crown was yet to come with my regular dentist, but that's not painful. Dr. Peterson is the bomb!

Unfortunately, I have had 4 root canals. Fortunately, Dr. Peterson has done all of them. He is completely professional, but is also warm and friendly and has a great bed-side manner. He is very gentle- I actually dozed off during one of my root canals! The procedures have all been a complete success with little or no pain following. Dr. Peterson's staff is awesome, from the front desk to the assistants. They could not be nicer or more accomodating. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Peterson and his group. I highly recommend them!

I am a dentist's nightmare; my nerve endings are abnormally long. But Dr. Peterson takes it as a personal failure if a patient of his feels any pain - I refuse to go to anyone else for endodontia; I would go to him all the time if he were a normal dentist. I am stunned to hear that there is someone who is upset at his fees - he's a specialist who employs an extremely professional (& so warm & friendly!) staff; he is CHEAP for what you get! All other root canals I suffered thru before him took several appointments and lots of pain - he took more time getting me numb than he did doing the procedure! He is a dream who I heartily recommend to everyone.

I went to Dr. Peterson for a consultation. He and (especially) his staff were professional. He seemed very skilled and had great "bed side manners". Nevertheless, I had my root canal done by someone else. Why? He doesn't accept any health insurance plans and wanted about $2,000. Dental plans only pay about half of that for participating providers. Since my copay is 50%, I had the choice of going to another dentist and paying $500 or staying put and paying $1500 or more. I chose to go elsewhere.

This guy ROCKS -- kind, patient, thorough, understanding, professional -- with a superb staff. Painless administration of novocaine -- painless root canal with virtually no pain after numbness wore off! Woo hoo!

When was the last time a doctor's office called you the day after to see if you were doing OK? Not in my lifetime, until now. Too bad I don't need a root canal more often. What a great doctor, great atmosphere, great music, great assistants, and great treatment. What else can I say except, pray you need a root canal and make that appointment with Dr. Peterson.

You walk into Dr. Peterson's office and the first thing you see is a large picture of a smiling young boy standing at the bathroom sink with a tooth brush in his hand. Turns out this is Dr. Peterson as a kid, and part of his goal is to be sure that everyone leaves the visit to the endodontist with a big smile on their face, and sense of relief. This was so true for me both just last week and eight years ago. The royal treatment begins at the telephone with the staff updating me on the progress of other appointments so that I could minimize waiting room time. Friendliness is their motto; efficiency their practice. They seem to internalize the knowledge that most who show up there are in pain, and may not be at their best. Dr. Peterson himself is wonderfully comforting (he really is a painless dentist) and relaxing; observant and atuned to the patient's state of health and anxiety. He fully explains all procedures. He is really fast and efficient (root canal from assessing the condition of the tooth to final X-rays in <1.5 hours), and carries on a "soothing" banter with his assistant during the procedure--no muzak here, just very calm and casual chat between colleagues. Trust him completely, you're in good hands.
