I have had a fillings, and some older ones Dr. Fein did not do replaced. Their all still in there after 20+ years! I also had a root canal and crown, which Dr. Fein and the ceramic elves did very well. He's a perfectionist and this is one of the professions that this is welcome. Grace always handles changes in my insurance without me asking. I would gladly recommend this staff to anyone.
About Hygienist: Nancy and Shannon are super personable. Very thorough and professional, my teeth are always squeaky clean ... and they hassle me about flossing just enough,

My wife and I have been a patient of Dr. Fein for over 20 years and continue to commute from the East Bay to see him rather than change dentists. He does general dentistry and specializes in cosmetic dentistry. He is sensitive to his patients and perfectionist in the quality of his work. His staff is first rate,so periodic cleanings and check ups are first rate.

A superb artist/craftsman. Gentle, thoughtful; a perfectionist.
He did my 2 bridges; they've lasted a long time & look great.
His staff are terrific, and his office is lovely
(I do feel he's pricey, but worth it)

David Fein is my friend. He and his staff have put me completely at ease regarding my dental health needs. I was a train wreck until I went to his office. Root Canals, Oral Surgeries and Partials all done Painlessly. Now I can smile. If I have an appointment, I'm there 10 to 15 minutes early for my T-time. Dr. Fein's love of golf is only overshadowed by his love and knowledge of Dentistry. He is the only dentist for me, my 82 year old mother, my son and my ex-wife. The staff truly make me feel special. About Hygienist: I see Shannon 3 times a year(thanks to my love of Peet's Coffee) for cleaning. She is so sweet. She takes such good care of me. And goes that extra mile to assure that my smile as a sparkle.

I just hit 25 years seeing Dr. Fein. Our whole family goes there, we even moved our teenage children over to his practice from their pediatric dentist. The three other patients we've recommended all were very happy.
Dr. Fein is a perfectionist. He will take extra time to get it right, staying after hours if necessary, or send something back to the lab I've never had any problem with work he's done, and anything he said might need to be replaced in ten years or so still hasn't deteriorated.
His staff also is excellent. Grace the office manager is wonderful and very friendly. They submit billing to insurance on your behalf even if they don't work with that insurance company. The hygienist and dental assistant are excellent, do great work, and also are very nice. Costs are reasonable for San Francisco.
He's got a good sense of humor, and golf does factor into it.
He's done cavities, root canals, crowns with and without posts, filling replacements, and porcelain veneers. All completely successful, low pain. My veneers are about 20 years old, still going strong and look great, though Dr. Fein says he'd love to re-do them with the newest technology "when my boat comes in".
I give him my highest recommendatio

Recent front tooth crown..result...whooo hooo. beautiful Dr Fein. All the other work he has done over the years ( a lot ) is still in tact. Dr Fein is kind, gentle and a perfectionist. I highly recommend his services to anyone who wants a a perfect job done each and every time and done with a caring attitude. Dr Fein is looking out for you as the patient in many ways.

Dr. Fein is a fabulous dentist- extremely well qualified and skilled, friendly, dependable, professional, and brings a level of perfection to his work unlike any dentist I have encountered.

Dr Fein and his staff are the absolute BEST!!!! You will appreciate his knowledge attention to detail and gentle, kind manor. Our family has been seeing him for over 10 years. Dr Fein goes out of his way to make your visit a positive experience. I don't know many Dr. that make fallow up calls after a procedure but Dr Fein really cares about his patients their comfort and satisfaction.
About Hygienist: Dr Fein staff is the absolute best..... I have never had such a thorough experience.... I will go no where else....

I feel so fortunate to have been a patient of Dr. David Fein's for OVER FIFTEEN YEARS. Having current knowledge and skill is one important element for a dentist. Having integrity and exercising excellent judgment is another. Being a respectful, down-to-earth, honorable person is another. Dr. David Fein is a rare combination of each of these. His professionalism, expertise, courtesy, honesty and deep caring sets the overall tone for the 'winning', wonderful team he has put together to make up his practice. Dr. Fein is a true perfectionist and takes tremendous pride in his workmanship. He demands excellence from himself and his staff as well as any specialists he may need to send a patient to. Even though I have moved to the South Bay I would not dream of going to another dentist. He has earned my loyalty and my steadfast trust. It is a privilege to be able to call you Dr. David Fein, MY dentist!
About Hygienist: Shannon, Dr. Fein's hygienist mirrors the excellence of this practice. She too is knowledgeable, keeps current and has the utmost integrity. In addition Shannon is such a pleasant person. I know I am in excellent hands with her too!

I have been with him for twenty five years and still have my first work intact. I can't believe his attention to detail. Has a great hygienist and his new office manager is great.
