Two crowns, and one tooth with cavity, silver filling removed, replaced with a non-silver filling. I have a very small mouth so opening my mouth wide causes a strain. This dentist is very accomodating to lessen my anxiety issues and with that reassurance, I am very comfortable with his follow-up with any future dental work.
This is the VERY FIRST DENTIST that accurately diagnosed and tuned up my bite. He improved my ability to open my mouth further and more comfortable than ever before. No other Dentist did anything for me regarding this or even acknowledged and educated me what was going on and how he could remedy some improvement after years of a long-standing issue. So for that and all he has done for my dental care, I am eternally thankful that I have the caliber of professional dentistry under the care of Dr. K. Botsford.

About Hygienist: Very helpful staff. The dental hyhgienist is very thorough and technically up-to-date and accomadating measures for chairside comfort.

“Sedation Dentistry Saved My Life!”
I hated ALL dentists (not personally but the thought of them) until now. I have had many dental procedures and know the pain of shots, infections, dry sockets, root canals, extractions and sore spots. I had a major infection in one of my teeth and knew I had to see a dentist. I found Dr. Botsford on the Internet because I figured the only way I would make it through any dental procedure was by being sedated. I was SCARED!
Dr. Botsford met with me and we discussed my medical history and he advised me on what medications to reduce or not take prior to the sedation appointment.
FYI – For the past 2 years of my life, I have been battling strange lesions on my skin. I saw 6 dermatologists. They could not determine what was causing it. I was diagnosed as having shingles, some strange bacterial, scabies, lupus, and eczema. I was even tested for drugs or told I was the cause by picking at it!!! Whenever my skin broke out, I always got a cold but recently, I was becoming very ill. Temps of 104, pneumonia (2 times), staff infections, life threatening stuff! I was missing so much work recently, I quit to avoid termination. My husband and I were constantly fighting because I looked awful , couldn’t care of my family and the amount of money spent in dermatology bills, plus all the over the counter remedies I tried and now I wasn’t working.
The day before my appointment, I discontinued my medication and took the anti-anxiety medication to help sleep – it helped. Then, I took the pill one hour before my appointment and I became rather talkative. Once I arrived at the office, I don’t remember too much more until waking up in my bed without pain after two extractions. I slept a lot the first day and part of the second day. Amazingly, my skin began to heal – almost too fast. I didn’t take my medication for 2 days and my skin was normal. I took my medication on the third day and my skin started breaking out. Oh my God! This medication is causing an allergic reaction! Wait! The dermatologists who took biopsies (total of 4) told me that I am not allergic to this medication. I stopped taking the medication. The end of my skin problems.
I got new dentures (very embarrassing to t ype that!) and they look FABULOUS! The time Dr. Botsford took to make certain they would fit was so much more than any previous dentist. I only had 2 minor sore spots. They fit GREAT, my skin problems ARE TOTALLY GONE and I LOOK GREAT!
DR BOTSFORD LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE.

I've had major dental work completed over the years, including many crowns and a front tooth implant. The work was done in a very professional manner, Dr. Botsford insured that the work was done to my standards and that was happy with the outcome, appearance of the implant was not noticable.
I would RECOMMEND Dr. Botsford to anyone that needs any dental work completed..

First visit, was ok, second visit was more about Finance rather helping to review some other options. Doctor Botsford is more concern about "Braces" than general exam of teeth. My front teeth needed a root canal, Doctor ignored it, and instead was pushy on braces. Don't you know that before any braces, TEEATH 1. Needs to be cleaned, 2. Fixed, if needed, talking about cavity, root canal.
Braces are last step.

Dr. Botsford is always very informative and explains all options & ensures that you understand the procedures throughout. His recommendations and treatments have always been spot on and very successful. He genuinely cares about his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Botsford.

I've had two crowns in the last year and both were highly successful. Dr. Botsford and his assistant work like a well oiled team. They made me feel comfortable, addressed my needs, and kept me informed every step of the way. I have highly recommend Dr. Botsford and his team to everyone I know!

I was a few minutes away from having surgery on my left jaw joint due to tears and TMJ when I was referred to Dr. Botsford for a splint. I had been taking 800 mg Ibuprofen, 1000 mg Tylenol round the clock for YEARS for pain and other symptoms related to my TMJ. Once I started with the splint treatment and adjustments, my use of pain meds decreased to almost nothing. I have to say, I am a new person. The muscles in my face and around my left eye relaxed and I actually had less "bulk" in my cheeks in general. Dr. Botsford saved me from a life of pain, missed work, discomfort, agitation and overall discouragement from this unending condition. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Botsford and his wonderful team who are caring, kind, gentle and humorous. The smiles, laughter and sharing of fun stories puts you at ease and makes you feel like you are part of the family. Dr. B changed my life with his splint adjustments and the education he provided to me each visit I made when he carefully and slowly explained the musculature, bite, process of relaxing the jaw muscles and the clenching while sleeping or during day time stress. I would highly recommend Dr. Botsford and his staff. We moved out of the area and stll travel over 40 miles for treatment. We would have a hard time going anywhere else. Dr. Botsford and his staff are not only professionals they are educators. They are there to answer any questions and Barb always provides support with any billing issues or questions. As most peope, I truly don't look forward to going to the dentist, but when I walk into the office it feels more like visiting family then visiting just another dentist. My two boys were 8 & 10 when we started and now as adults they still continue to visit the office.
About Hygienist: I wouldn't trust me care to just anyone and I truly trust JoBeth with my care. You can tell that she always treats me like an individual and makes my care and comfort a priority

Dr Botsford has done by braces, fillings and a root canal. He is in the process of fitting me for a bite guard to help w/my clenching of teeth. He has been carefully watching this for about the last 8 years. He always asks me about this when I come in for my cleaning. He remembers paitents names and what treatments they've had done or will be getting done. I would definetly reccomend him to others.
About Hygienist: JoBeth is an excellent hygienist. She's gentle and easy to talk to about teeth and the cleaning process. She does a thorough job and always recommends things to do at home between cleanings.
