Dr. van der Werf is a fantastic endodontist. He is extremely experienced and professional. If need be, I'd go back to him. His office staff is also great. He does love his Apple products.

His root canal was the best dental procedure experience of my life. Entirely pain free - didn't even feel the novocaine needle, sense of humor, he and his staff put me immediately at ease, great appointment times & availability, correct billing the first time through, would drive across the valley if necessary to have him do future root canals. NOTHING negative.

After having a couple painful root canals in the past, I was sent to Dr. Van Der Werf and was totally amazed!! He is very pleasent to be around along with all of his staff (his daughter was his assistant and very nice!) and his work is painless!! His office is extremely clean and beautiful! I will not go anywhere else if I ever need any work done again!!

I was scared to death of getting my root canal, but this guy really knows how to set you at ease. Highly skilled, great assistants, and it's a pleasure to visit his office.

I've only seen Dr. van der Werf for a consultation on a broken tooth that needs a root canal. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and more than willing to answer any and all questions. His assistants were very nice, and very friendly. It was only when I was told it would cost the equivalent of a month's rent that I said goodbye. I'm still undecided as to whether or not to go with this endodontist for the root canal. If it weren't for the financial issue, it would be definite yes. The final kicker was when I had to pay $80 for the consultation. This came as a shock since the dentist that referred me to him said the initial consultation would be free. That figures.

This guy knows his stuff. He is very good. I have had 2 root canals, and no after pain. He uses very high tech tools. That, along with his years of experience, helps him to be so good at what he does.
He expects cash in advance and refuses to deal with insurance. I dislike that part, but want the quality, so accept it.
His prices are far from the lowest in town, but I felt I got the quality that I paid for.
