Amet, an American Board Certified Prosthodontist and American Board Certified Implant Dentist, provides comprehensive dental treatment. He founded the Reconstructive & Implant Dental Center in 1988, has clinically practiced for 40 years. He placed his first dental implant in 1974. He has extensive training and experience in both the surgical and prosthodontic phases of therapy, with skilled and talented on site dental staff and technicians. These on staff dental technicians with Dr. Amet make the prosthodontics personalized and cosmetic for each patient. "Our goal, states Dr. Amet, is to provide our patients with the finest quality of care as comfortably and pain-free as possible."

    Curriculum Vitae--Summary

    Edward M. Amet, has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Puget Sound, and received his D.D.S. degree in 1969 from Northwestern University Dental School. In l974, he received Master of Science degree from the University of Missouri with a Certificate in Prosthodontics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. His training includes I.V. Conscious Sedation Anesthesia and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He placed his first implant in 1974 and has extensive training and experience in both the surgical and prosthodontic phases of therapy, with skilled and talented onsite dental staff and technicians.

    Have been a patient for 40 years. Always does great work. Original crowns still in great condition. Highly recommend.

    I left today with my finished teeth and I have never smiled so much they are absolutely beautiful! They are so real looking that people do not believe that they are not my real teeth! If you are looking for a dentist who really cares and is great at what he does then I would certainly recommend Dr. Amet!!! You will also find that all of his staff is very friendly and competent and treat you like you are one of their family! I LOVE MY TEETH THANK YOU Dr. Amet !!!!!!

    Confident and experienced. Very positive and friendly environment. I am so happy with the appearance and function of my implant. Only regret was not having it done sooner.

    Dr. Amet corrected previous work done by adding 4 additional implants in lower jaw. He made my new upper and lower dentures himself in the evening and on the weekend. He is a perfectionist and his work is outstanding. The result is comfort and functionality. He returned my facial features and smile to what I had as a young man. I would recommend Dr. Amet to anyone who is considering having implants and dentures done by a general dentist and oral surgeon.

    About Front Desk: The staff at Dr. Amets office are very pleasant and professional. Pat puts you at ease and keeps you informed if the Dr. is delayed for your appointment. She makes sure that your appointments keep you from any conflicts.

    I was a labor-intensive patient after a couple failed procedures by former dentists left my front upper teeth with big problems. Because of my unsightly teeth and gums, I refrained from smiling as frequently or as naturally as before. Dr. Amet was recommended, and after a careful examination and much thought, he suggested a course of treatment to not only repair the damage but also enhance the appearance. After the work was completed, my husband and I were both amazed and very pleased with the results. Dr. Amet gave me back my smile! Now I feel improved confidence with my appearance, and people perceive me to be a much more cheerful person than before, because I am no longer ashamed of my smile and let it shine without restraint. Dr. Amet is supported by a terrific team who were always very professional, friendly, and competent. Both Dr. Amet and his in-house technician are artists! My insurance covered part of the cost, and while the work was not inexpensive, I definitely feel the quality of the finished product was well worth the cost. I would certainly recommend Dr. Amet!
