Dr. Matthews is easily the best dentist I have ever had. I don't mind going to the dentist anymore! He makes me feel comfortable and is always making sure that there is no pain or discomfort during my visit. I feel pampered from the moment I walk in the door when I am offered a snack or something to drink, followed by a parafin wax for my hands. After sitting down in the dental chair, I am offered a warm neck wrap and a blanket. This office does a wonderful job making sure you're comfortable. Dr. Matthews is a wonderful man and dentist, and as long as I'm in the Colorado Springs area I will not even think about visiting another dentist.

About Front Desk: Sandy is a wonderful lady who makes my visits special from the time I see her when I walk in, to walking out and making my next appointment. She is friendly and personable and is one of those people who you can tell is genuine and really cares about you. Scheduling is always a breeze and she works to fit your schedule.

About Hygienist: Every hygienist at Dr. Matthew's office is very professional and thorough. Each of them make me very comfortable and are quick and efficient.

I do not like change, but the best thing that ever happened regarding my oral health is when my dentist retired several years ago and I found Dr. Matthews. Before he accepted me as a patient, I had to fill out a questionnaire so he could evaluate what I was looking for in a dentist; once he knew that my greatest priority was keeping my natural teeth for my entire life, we agreed on a long-term course of treatment involving regular cleanings and exams that has helped me attain that goal. I have the utmost confidence in the care and advice that I receive from Dr. Matthews, and know that any recommendations he makes as far as a course of treatment are warranted and part of attaining my oral health goal.

About Front Desk: Dabrinka and Sandy are always helpful with scheduling the next appointment once I complete a procedure. The billings to my insurance company have been accurate and timely.

I have dentures and originally received them from another dentist. Although they fit OK I was always breaking off teeth. Dr Mathews was able to build a new set and fit them so I no longer have this issue.

Dr Matthews is a true artist. He repaired a small chip on my front tooth and even I can't tell it's been done! Have had lots of work done over the past 10 yrs and I couldn't be happier! joanie

When I first met Dr Matthews in 1987, I was dangerously close to losing many of my teeth due to my neglect. He literally saved this from happening. He makes sure that all procedures are pain-free and his office is always perfectly clean. I moved from Colorado Springs to the Denver area in 1989 and have continued to travel the 70 miles each way for the past 24 years for both cleanings and all dental work. I think this speaks to the the respect and confidence I have in this practice and all the fine people that work there. My 19 year old daughter just started college at UCCS and she goes to Dr, Matthews for all her dental needs as well. I will be his patient as long as he is practicing. I used to not smile because of the condition of my teeth. Now I get compliments on how nice they look.

About Front Desk: Sandy, Dabrinka and everyone else in the office are the best and help me whenrver I have an emergency or to re-schedule when something comes up in my hectic schedule. They always work with me and my dental insurance to make sure I get all the credit I am entitled.

Crowns, cleanning's, X-rays, fillings. All procedures are done in a professional manner including any follow-up or adjustments. The cost on average may be a bit higher then the average dentist, however, the facility, staff and equipment are top notch as well as care of patients and worth paying for.I would recommend this dentist to others and have done so.

About Front Desk: Sandy & DeBrinka always cheerful very friendly on top of any billing issues with insurance. Provide reminders of any upcoming appointments and work with me on scheduling appointments.

About Hygienist: Lisa & Michelle, friendly and very proficient. Ensure the patient is comfortable and provide excellent care.

Dr. Matthews is fabulous. The office is run well and the entire staff is exceptional. I have recommended this dentist to others and will continue to do so.

I had a dental implant procedure done. Dr. Matthews did everything from the tooth extraction to the actual implant. I experienced no pain at all. I was able to leave the same day with a tempory tooth until the area could heal and the final product could be put into place. Dr. Matthews was able to answer all my question prior to and during the procdure. It looks and feels great. I would highly recommend Dr.Matthews for any dential needs from basic to the most advanced. The staff that works with Dr. Matthews is exceptional as well.
