Dr. Smith is the excellent orthodontist for all three of my sons. In fact, we've had all three sitting in his exam chairs at one time. Each of my sons had different orthodontic needs and Dr. Smith and his staff excelled in treated all of them. My older two sons had more typical orthodontic needs and Dr. Smith gave them perfect smiles.
The third son was the most difficult treatment plan. I spoke to Dr. Smith when that son was going into middle school and Dr. Smith was understanding about all the middle and high school dynamics students face about appearance, etc. Dr. Smith put braces on my son to straighten the few teeth he had. Then, Dr. Smith made an appliance that looked like normal healthy teeth for my son to wear from 8th grade to freshman year of college when he would be old enough to get dental implants due to his congenitally missing teeth. The Dr. Smith was thoughtful in the treatment that had to work not only for the present time, but also would plan ahead for the future implants.When my son was finally old enough to get implants, Dr. Smith communicated on our behalf with the oral surgeon about my son's difficult case. The oral surgeon said Dr. Smith did an excellent job in preparing my son for his implants.

Due to a childhood accident, I had a very involved surgery that included replacing both jaw joints & reconstructing my face. Very few orthodontists had the skills necessary to deal with such an involved case (and most wouldn't touch me). Dr. Smith worked closely with my surgeon in Dallas to make sure that my braces moved my teeth to where they needed to be after surgery and then finished any tweaking after surgery. After the removal of my braces he made sure the retainers I'll wear for the rest of my life worked properly & kept my teeth aligned. I never had to wait more than a few minutes and the entire staff was always nice and attentive. Dr. Smith is very good at what he does, and he goes out of his way to make sure that his patients are comfortable and informed. He even met with my surgeon on his own time on several occasions to make sure that they were on the same page & giving me the best care possible. And the cost was less than I expected for a job as involved as mine. I highly recommend Dr. Smith! He was awesome, and he also happens to be a really nice guy!
About Front Desk: Always pleasant and always remembered who I was. They even asked me questions about things going on in my life. I was always impressed that they remembered personal information and cared enough to inquire. Also - this site wouldn't let me give the facilities a 4 star rating, but they were very nice & I'd give them 4 stars if I could :)

Dr. Smith has been very helpful throughout my years of treatment. Invisalign surprised both of us in how it was able to straighten my teeth. Both locations have worked well for me. I find Amanda to also be very knowledgeable, helpful, and sweet. It is very easy to feel comfortable at appointments. Dr. Smith and his staff do not waste time which I really appreciate.

I was in extreme pain. My bite was off. I couldn't sleep. I had been unknowingly clenching and grinding my teeth. I had headaches and a neck ache. Dr. Smith and his assistant, Jared were awesome! They took great care of me and after just two sessions, and the much-needed night guard, I was healed. I am pain free and sleep through the night. Can't say enough great things about them and I am sooooo grateful. I've seen many dentists and orthodontists over the years. These guys know their stuff! :) Highly recommend them. Do yourself a favor.

Dr. Smith is the best in what he does, very professional, Knowledge and very caring.
My case was a little special since I got my braces in another country and I just need someone to follow the treatment, I called so many Orthodontist in the Austin, Cedar Park and Leander and no one would take me or follow the treatment without take out the braces already have, so at the last minute find Dr smith web site and I send a e-mail explaining my situation and see if he would take me as a transfer patient from another Dr. out the country and to my surprise they respond my e-mail and told me to call and make an appointment to revise my case.
I went there and the environment was very relaxing the staff were so sweet and caring and finally meet Dr Smith I explain my case to him a had my X rays and he said well lest see if your braces are correctly placed I don't see any reason for no take your case so he toke a look a my teeth and the braces all the paper work I have and he said he will continue my treatment even do to using the braces they work with have been ideal he said he had no problem with the ones I had on, so I started the treatment right away and two years later my treatment is almost done and my smile looks great .
About Front Desk: very friendly, caring and Holly is so sweet thanks you all your are the best in costumer service no doubt about it. These office have so many thing to keep my 4 year old busy while I see Dr Smith.

Wisdom teeth taken out in less than an hour. Only had to take one day of pain pills and back at work the day after the procedure. Overall great experience.
