My wife and I were referred to Dr. Mahler for prosthodontic work. We both needed dental repair and new dentures.
We were most pleased with the kind personal attention and excellent technical results. The entire office and support staff made our many visits stress free and a real pleasure. (If, indeed, there is any pleasure in visiting a dentist!)
The costs were very reasonable and we were particularly impressed with the same excellent attention rendered during follow-up visits for adjustments.
After 7 decades of dental work, we can truly say that Dr. Mahler's practice was the best dental experience we have ever had-- top notch dental work, an efficient and friendly staff, and very reasonable costs.
We certainly understand why Dr. Mahler was voted by his colleagues as one of the best prosthodontists in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. As patients with extensive treatment, we would go one step further and say he's the very best.

Dr. Mahler is the best dentist I have ever visited. He spells out all possible treatments that are available, and he describes the potential outcome for each option. He is also very upfront about cost, advantages and disadvanatages, and treatment :"lifetime" expectancy. He does not push anyone to take the most or more expensive option. He respects your decision and will provide the best possible service. Dr. Mahler is a true artist. My crown was superbly made and attached. My bite is better than it was, before my tooth broke. Dr. Mahler is patient, gentle, caring, and understanding. I did not feel a thing -- other than having to open my mouth wide. He even understood that this can cause discomfort, so he gave me plenty of breaks. Dr. Mahler continues to stay abreast of dental techniques and procedures and he knows a network of excellent dentists, to whom he can refer his patients. I went on a referal and his colleague did not charge me for his consultation and exam, because he exchanges consultations with Dr. Mahler. When I moved 10 hours away for 7 years -- I drove all the way down to see Dr. Mahler, even for basic check-ups and procedures. I have had bad experiences with other dentists - Dr. Mahler is the greatest!

Drs. Toth & Mahler are great! Very considerate and open minded.
When I was having difficulty with holding evrything in my mouth to get an x-ray, Dr. Mahler stayed in the room and held my mouth togther during the x-ray. (Most unusual.)
Everyone there was professional and freindly. I always felt very confident with their work.
