I have never written a review like this in my life, but after the experience my husband had with Dr. O'Keefe, I felt that we needed to do something to warn other patients about him. Since my husband had had x-rays taken within the past two years and our insurance only covers them once every three years, Dr. O'Keefe wanted my husband to pay out of pocket to have x-rays taken. After my husband said he would rather try contacting our insurance company first, O'Keefe apparently took it as a personal slight against him and proceeded to give my husband a terrible examination, jamming his instruments around for about 30 seconds, saying "your gums are terrible" and stalking out of the room without any explanation or discussion of a treatment plan. The hygienist was even cringing during the exam because of the harshness the dentist was using. Afterward she said that my husband should never have been treated like that and she gave us the name of another dentist to request the next time we go to that office. She was very kind, as were the rest of the office staff, but we will NEVER see Dr. O'Keefe again.
