A periodontist recommended that I have laser gum surgery and grafting to address issues related to periodontal desease. I went to Dr. Grise for a second opinion. She told me that surgery and grafting were not necessary and explained in great detail what the issue was and how I could address it on my own with daily care. She also found an infection that the original periodontist didn't mention and provided a referral to an Endodontist. I am forever thankful for her honesty and expertise and the fact that she saved me from a $8,700 unnecessary surgery.
About Front Desk: The staff at her office (Smiles of Naperville) were friendly, professional, and efficient. When I asked them for my X-Rays and periocharting, they emailed them right away. When I called back to ask for a referral to a periodontist, they said they would take care of it right away. I was very impressed!

She is the greatest! Has saved my teeth with routine maintenance and cleanings. Simple- it doesn't hurt.
Very sad to hear her old boss fired her and wanted a young buck out of school- sounds like to save money...
All I know is that she is a "Licensed Periodontist" who is board certified and not "portraying" herself as someone who "can do periodontal procedures". - but without a certification...
Would you want someone who took a few weekend continuing Ed courses digging into YOUR gums?
She is gentle in her technique, very friendly, and conservative in her treatment. I have been seeing her for years, and because she has me on a regular perio. maintenance schedule, my teeth are all mine, healthy, and strong.

Dr. Grise is the greatest!! She is very knowledgable and an excellent periodontist. She also has a relaxed attitude and great sense of humor which makes the patient comfortable. Her assistant is also very capable and friendly. The gals at the front desk are terrific . . . they are always willing to help in any way they can, especially in the case of an emergency and assist with insurance claims. All in all, this is a very patient friendly office!! I have had periodontal surgery and root planing/scaling. The discomfort was minimal thanks to Dr. Grise's expertise!!

I am very happy with her services. Very professional. I see her on a regular basis for my teeth since she started in this field.
