I find Dr. Tagge the best dentist I have seen in my 90 years., He has taken my case with my minimum insurance coverage, done a perfect job, and did not charge me as much as I had anticipated. Not only that, but he took the time to telephone me at home to make sure everything was all right as I went to bed. I will recommend Dr. Tagge to anyone I know. He has also referred me to anotrher specialist for something out of his field, and this Dr. William S. Bate is also of the same high caliber. Richard B. Blanchard, Jr.

Quality Dentist with a strong committment to providing the best possible care at a resonable cost. Does not charge like an airline. Once you agree on the price there are no extras. Great work, no pain and a pleasure to do business with in every sense. I am scared to death of dentists and Dr. Tagge is the best that I have ever been to. There is really nothiung that they could do better. A well run organization with a strong business ethic. Scot Stern Escondido

Dr. Tagge worked hand in hand with my dentist -coordinating treatment perfectly. He performed gum surgery in several quadrants of my mouth two years ago. He was soothing and gentle - explaining everything in detail. I had great fear and had delayed the surgery for way too long, but both the surgery and recovery were a piece of cake. I bet I'm not the only patient that would nominate him for sainthood. The staff has obviously worked together for a long time. They were terrific and all in sync. The outcome was great. My gums have never been healthier and have maintained their health since the surgery. I have no fear of any surgical procedure after this wonderful experience. Considering the amount of work perfomed and the professional staff involved - the cost was more than reasonable. The staff was willing to work with me on comfortable payment terms for the balance not covered by insurance.

The procedure was for receding gums, root exposure and sensitivity, thereby necessitating harvesting tissue from the roof of the mouth and transplanting the same to the subject area, with suturing for attachment. Chair-side manners were excellent with ongoing explanation of what to expect at all times. The procedure was surprisingly painless because the anesthesia was planned well in advance with patient participation. As to the cost, it was reasonable given the complexity of the procedure. The cost included post-surgical follow-up treatment as well as an apparatus to protect the area from which the tissue was harvested. Once again, the mouthpiece fit perfectly because the hygienist that prepared the mold did an excellent job. As a result of it's perfect fit, I can speak without an impediment and will be able to return to work earlier than I expected to. The staff is extremely sophisticated who handle everything from scheduling appointments, to explaining pre-and-post-surgical procedures. These are real people who work together as a team. This is the most professional office that I have ever dealt with in my entire life experience.
