Patient Review 1:

Dr Blende and his team are simply the best - they do work that no one else can (full mouth reconstructions, turning rotten teeth into beautiful smiles, even if you've already lost a few!). Unlike many other dentists, they don't lecture or yell at you for the state of your teeth (they understand that that's why you're there - to get them fixed - and that for many people who fear dentists, that's a big step), they put phobic patients under COMPLETE sedation (so that they're asleep for minor procedures, not just slightly drugged or drowsy like in other offices), and best of all, they're really, really nice. I had some root canals, extractions, and all of my teeth crowned a few months ago because they were rotting out of my mouth and I'm 100% satisfied with the work. The one downside for many people will be that they don't offer a payment plan - you have to pay for the cost of everything up front, and considering that these full-reconstructions and surgeries run into the tens of thousands of dollars, this will be beyond what many can afford. But even if you have to take out a loan, put it on credit cards, or save up, if you want to save your mouth, Blende's the guy to do it!

I had a morbid fear of Dental work, but Dr Blende has managed to patiently and painlessly work with me. First, with an emergency route canal and now, with cosmetic work to make my teeth better than they have ever been. I can absolutely recommend him and his entire staff.

Dr. Blende is the best. His collegues are top notch as well. He works very fast and gets a lot done in a single appointment. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have just started with Doctor Blende, so my treatment is not complete. The staff seems very professional and responsive. Doctor Blende gave me high hopes of a successful and long-lasting dental work.

I am extremely scared of needles and dental work, and while I keep my teeth clean and as healthy as possible, I hadn't seen a dentist in 6 years before Dr. Blende. He is EXCELLENT. Very gentle and personable, his staff is amazing - they will make you feel as though you are an old friend or family. They were very understanding about my fear and anxiety - none of my friends' dentists were as understanding, which is why I've avoided going for so long.

I recommend the Blende Dental Group to anyone with any specials needs like dental phobia or health problems as specialize in treating patients under I.V. sedation or in the hospital. *Normal* patients without any special needs come here also though because of Dr. Blende's excellent cosmetic work.

This is a very elite practice. While fees are a little higher than *general regular* dentists, this is not *general regular* dentistry that you are receiving. The Blende Dental Group is worth every penny.

Expensive, but worth it. If you need work where it will be visible, you'll be in great hands. They run a prompt, conscientious, and high tech office, give great quality care in general, and are really nice people.

The Blende Dental group definitely provides high quality care and professionalism. I have been to seven different dentist since moving to San Francisco ten years ago and was put off either by language barriers, dingy offices or assembly-line atmospheres. The only negative feature of this practice is the pricing of services, which seem to compare at roughly twice the price of other area dentist in the area. Bottom line: if you want the best, are mostly concerned with outcome and you can afford it, this is the one.

I've been going to Dr. Blende for over 10 years, originally referred by a friend. During that time, I've had everything from crowns to fillings to just hygienist visits. Not only is the care always so professional but the staff is unbelievably friendly, efficient and caring. The d￩cor of the office is understated, both warm and modern with nice relaxing colors and it's especially nice to be in a dental chair looking out a window at pleasant views instead of the enclosed feeling of a windowless room.

Dr. Blende was recommended by two different people I know, who both like his work. One did warn me that his prices are high, but I did not realize how high until I got an estimate for a bridge at about twice the price of most dentists. I had him do the work, as it was an emergency, but simply could not afford to keep going to him. He was very gentle and did an excellent job. I recommend him if you can afford him.
