Dr. Berkovich is terrific. She did my dental implants, gum grafts, the whole treatment, and it has worked out beautifully. I continue to see her twice a year for cleanings and her touch is so gentle that I don't even need anesthesia, but her cleanings are thorough. The whole office is so well run and beautiful. Her massage chair to recuperate after procedures is wonderful! Dr. Berkovich really thinks about what is best for her patients and provides it. I highly recommend her.

Dr. B is a perfectionist, patient, gentle, maticulous. I had gum grafts, bone grafts, implants. w/more to go. I wouldn't have anyone else but her handle this. She also fights the ins. co. Her office is impeccable and up-to-date as well. I want to hug her everytime I see her for what she has done for me. If all docs treated us as successfully and as carefully as Dr. B, we would all look forward to the visit.

I had two procedures in the same day - removal of a growth on my gum, and gum graft. There was no pain during the proceudres, and afterwards there was only minor discomfort.

Two days after the procedure I woke up at 6:30 a.m. and was concerned about the surgical area and called Dr. Berkovich. She returned my call within 10 minutes and assured me it was part of the healing process.

I am the biggest "baby" when it comes to any dental work, and Dr. Berkovich is the best - she explains the problem and procedure, the work is painless; the results are fantastic, painless, and she treats you with respect.

I highly recommend her.

Dr. Berkovich did gum grafts for 6 of my teeth over the course of two years (2005-06). She made the experience about as positive as I could imagine it. She previewed the process thoroughly, taking the time to educate me about all aspects of the procedures. Her information and professionalism were impressive and very reassuring. I was referred to Dr. Carrie Berkovich by Dr. Rebecca Castaneda to raise/enhance my gum line and to reduce/shave the bone under my gums before Dr. Castaneda would replace my 19 year old porcelain veneers. After the initial consultation, it will become very apparent that both doctors strive and do achieve the best results for each patient. Before this, I have had only one novacaine injection. I have never had any fillings,bridges etc.(fluoride generation). I am a 41 year old male. Fear of pain and unknown procedures are huge obstacles for me. I am the biggest baby when it comes to pain. All of my questions and obsessive concerns were addressed prior to the procedure by Dr. Berkovich and her staff. The day of my procedure I was greeted with reassuring smiles and the procedure was performed with caring confidence. Carrie is the best dental professional I've ever seen. She made time to see me for an emergency broken tooth, planned the surgery, and got the job done ASAP and with a smile.

Carrie is friendly, optimistic, and explained everything that I wanted to know. She also did a bone graft for the tooth at the same time and it went smoothly as well.

Her website has a lot of useful information about her practice and the dental techniques. If you're looking for a better smile, I highly recommend her.

This was my second (or third?) gum graft surgery from Dr. Berkovich. The office is extremely comfortable, pleasant and efficient. The doctor makes sure you know everything that is going to happen and what to expect. Pain was never an issue. The office was very prompt in processing insurance claims.

Doctor Berkovich did an extraction of a infected molar and a bone graft on 2 teeth. 5 months later she put in 2 dental implants. Both procedures were a success and done with great expertise, she fully explained both procedures, and kept me comfortable during the surgeries. The office is modern, very nice, extremely clean. There is also a room to relax in while you are waiting, with a messaging chair, and XM radio. The staff, is helpful and friendly. The price for both procedures is average from the research I did. I highly recommend her!

After five careful consultations with leading cosmetic dentists in San Francisco, I was referred to Carrie Berkovich regarding a dental implant.

As a result of a broken tooth (one of my front teeth) I needed an implant. I was very concerned that the implant would result in visible scarring and had high expectations.

From the initial consultation to the final post surgery follow up visit my experience with Carrie Berkovich exceeded my expectations.

She kept me informed thruout the entire process (before, during and after) so there would be no surprises.

It was a difficult surgery. The tooth needed to be removed in pieces due to fractured bone segments under the gum line.

Without any pain medication and with local anesthesia only, the entire procedure was painless. The tooth was removed and the implant was placed without incisions. The gum line was not jeopardized.

Her chairside manner was pleasant and professional and I would feel confident in making a recommendation to anyone considering an implant or plastic surgery of the mouth.

Dr. Berkovich's service, manner, explanations, and staff are professional and impeccable. From the initial consultation to the follow-up, she provided concise explanations of the procedure and what to expect from my gum grafting surgery.

She also provided printed instructions as to how to care for the surgery, a pager number, guaze and disposable ice pack.

I would highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking gum grafting surgery. I am very pleased with the results! She also provides laser services if any resurfacing/reshaping is necessary, which is less invasive that other corrective procedures (if needed) and not offered by all periodontists.

After the procedure, Dr. Berkovich has patients relax in a relaxation room with music, a fountain and massage chair, a perk that I have never experienced at any other office-a nice touch after any procedure.

Her services are truly top-notch!!

In 2004, my general care dentist at the time recommended Dr. Berkovich. She had done work on him and his family. I had long put off getting work done on my receding gums. One dentist I had had recommended I get veneers instead. I am certainly glad I went with the decision to have gum surgery. The alternative would have made me have the smile of a German Shepherd.

During my consultation session with Berkovich, she explained the procedure, as well as the benefits of having it done. All my questions were answered. At no time did she push me into making a decision.

A month later I had the procedure done. During which she explained what she was doing, and otherwise put me at ease. A few days later I had a concern. When she was able to, she called me back and eased my mind.

This year, I had another section of gum tended to. In addition, she willingly adjusted the previous work to more of my liking. I could not thank her enough for all the results.

I have no complaints about Dr. Berkovich. Which I have found is rare with a dental professional. She has an excellent chair-side manner. I found that she let me be involved in all the decisions to be made. Depending on your insurance, she is well worth the price.

Absolutely exceptional, impeccable overall experience, perfect results - but quite a few reviewers already wrote about top-notch professionalism and bedside manners above reproach.

What I would like to add: in my case Dr. Berkovich had to fight a long and hard uphill battle with my insurance company. She did it on my behalf for many months after treatment was finished and I paid for it.

And she won that battle for me, and recovered for me 70% of the cost of the dental implant treatment!

That's how Dr. Berkovich and her office care about their patients, and it goes way beyond "call of duty".

From my initial phone call inquiry all the way through my post-op appointment, my whole experience with Dr. Berkovich and staff was consistently 4++ star satisfaction. After consulting with 5 different dentists, I decisively chose Dr. Berkovich based on her least invasive solutions and realistic outcome approach. She is very concise and meticulous with her work and they all show on the results -- my gums are now very healthy and pink and she managed to show off all my healthy white teeth underneath my residing gums. I found Dr. Berkovich by luck online and am so glad I did! She was very gentle and meticulous and took time to ask about any questions I had. She told me everything she was about to do (which is important to me, being a healthcare professional myself). And the results were fantastic. The price was an ENORMOUS deal lower than other quotes I had received for what I needed performed.....there was even a free initial consultation! When I first met Dr. B, three years ago, I had severe periodontal problems, fear and little knowledge of how to resolve my problems. I immediately felt comfort in her professional chair side manner along with her impeccable skills and abilities. It was quite an involved process to resolve all of my periodontal issues, but today I am happy to report those issues are behind me and I am half way through the restorative processes following my periodontal work.
