Dr. Grimaldi is an outstanding dentist. He is well-trained, competent, caring and kind, I was referred to Dr. Grimaldi because I have multiple, severe allergies to dental products. Dr. Grimaldi had the courage to help me with this problem and then went about solving the problem in a thorough, well-planned way. Working with my allergists, he arranged for me to be pre-tested on all of the dental products he planned to use for my multiple crowns. With my health and safety as his primary concern, he completed all my dental work in 3 visits and he did an excellent job on all of my crowns. He listened carefully to my concerns, explained all of his decisions, and was very reassuring. His staff was competent and helpful. He is the best dentist available.

Patient Review 2:
The one quality that separates Dr. Grimaldi from other dentists is that he takes the time to describe the procedure in a very thoughtful manner. He is reassuring and explains the options available and the risks associated with it on both a short and long term basis. He expresses his professional opinion and if necessary draws a picture so the patent can visualize the problem at hand. His fees are on the high side but it is probably worth it. His new office down the hall is not as comfortable as his old office and feels a bit cramped. If you don't mind this aspect it, I do recommend him.

Dr. Grimaldi patiently and carefully reconstructed four of my teeth after a bike accident. Two teeth were lost entirely, and were replaced with titanium implants and two others were repaired with crowns. He and his staff are total professionals. They treated me like a friend and took great care of me. They made sure I knew all of the options throughout my ordeal.Dr. Grimaldi makes sure his patients are comfortable and informed. I am very pleased with every aspect of his treatment. The end result is better than I hoped for. Highly recommended.

This dentist takes the time to completely explain various different treatment options and the possible consequences for each option. He is SO professional. Every procedure he's done on me (there have been many including 4 extractions) have all been completely painless and he really talks to you while doing the work to be sure "you are ok?" Dr. Grimaldi really, really does "GET IT" when it comes to patient's pain; hence there never is any.The staff are also wonderful and very pleasant.Here's a "biggy". Dr. Grimaldi never makes you wait. If the appointment is for for 2:00PM THEN THA'T WHEN TREATMENT BEGINS -- not 2:10. For the 15 (thereabout) treatments I've had --NEVER ONCE was he late by even a few minutes. This is SO APPRECIATED!

Dr. Grimaldi runs a clean, friendly office, with an emphasis on making you comfortable. If you feel nervous about a procedure and request nitrous, they always provide it. The hygenists are very nice and the care was gentle and relaxed.

I've been a patient for 10 years but always felt the Dr.'s main interest was selling expensive cosmetic procedures. At first, I got a lot of attention from the Dr.: oral exams, inspection of hygienist's work, etc. Also, recommendations for whitening, etc. I declined the cosmetic stuff for financial reasons. When I still didn't go for it after financing options were offered, I got less and less attention from the doctor. Recently, I decided to reconsider whitening. I discussed the procedure and fees with the staff and made an appointment. At the appointment, I was told that the initial quote omitted several hundred dollars in fees for the final step. I accepted this as an innocent oversight. As we began preparations, I thought of a few more questions. The Dr. came in to address my questions and in the process raised some concerns about the efficacy of the procedure (internal bleaching) vs. veneers (much more expensive). Finally, he said that if I wasn't satisfied with the result of internal bleaching, they wouldn't charge me. I thought this was a sign of the Dr.'s confidence. However, when presented with the paperwork to sign, it was just the bleaching fee credited toward thousands of dollars in veneers. Was not a good experience.

I have gone to Dr Grimaldi for all my dental care for about 15 years and I think he's great. Very competent, with a good friendly, low key, professional attitude. He stays abreast of the latest techniques and technologies and is active in professional dental organizations (writes articles, was president of one organization, if forget which). He has done two crowns for me, both of which have been fine.The only negatives are minor -- his office tried to bill me missed appointment fees when I had to miss an appointment because I was sick. And he's pretty insistent about wanting to do xrays when I do teeth cleanings (I refuse).But other than that, I would recommend him highly.
