I have the most vulnerable teeth. Dentists my whole life have told me so and I've probably sent all their kids to college by now. I went to Dr. Castaneda for some very typical work (cleaning, fillings, whitening, etc.) and was surprised to find that I would almost loose one of my front teeth. She was able to save it, and make some of the existing teeth look better. Dr. Castaneda was knowledgeable and polite. HOWEVER, her staff is super pushy (i.e., Sonia). Moreover, this is by far the most expensive dentist I have ever been to, and I have seen at least twenty during my lifetime. All that being said, I would go to her if I needed some aesthetic work done in the front of my mouth, but otherwise, I'd find a good quality dentist somewhere with parking and save my money.

Dr. Castaneda is an artist and produces beautiful, natural, extremely high quality work. She never said anything bad about the dentist who had worked on me before she did, just that the fillings needed to be replaced with white fillings even though it was only a few years since most of the fillings were replaced with metallic fillings by another dentist. It wasn't until I saw the molds of my teeth that I noticed crevices on the tops of my teeth. When I asked about them, the assistant casually mentioned those were the areas in which the fillings from the previous dentist were pulling away from my teeth. Untrained, even I could easily see he had done a horrific job! Because of his work I had been grinding my teeth horribly because the bite was off and my gums had been receding. Dr. Castaneda discovered that he had also left behind decay under the cavities he had filled!

Dr. Castaneda fixed everything and gave me a beautiful, white smile upon which I receive many compliments. I highly recommend Dr. Castaneda to anyone who asks. She is not cheap (but she is not overly expensive either) but why would anyone possibly want to go for cheap when it involves their health and appearance?

Dr. Castaneda's staff & assistants are friendly and gentle.They pay attention if a break/breather is needed:-) Lets face it, theres bound to be some pain, we allowed our teeth to rot, requiring extra, deeper work. The end results are soo worth it! My temps look real, imagine the final? GREAT.

In regards to a beautiful smile changing your outlook and self esteem, someone who hasn't experienced poor dental health has no clue of the INSTANT transformation in Dr. Castaneda's work. Not seeing the decay, is mind blowing. I needed to replace my four, 19 year old porcelain veneers. I researched the best Bay Area cosmetic dentists and it was apparent that Dr. Rebecca Castaneda, DDS of the Aesthetika Dental Center had the experience, knowledge and proven results I desired. Dr. Castaneda referred me to Dr. Carrie Berkovich, DDS/Periodontist to raise and enhance my gum line in order for Dr. Castaneda to acheive her outstanding results. After the initial consultations, it became very apparent that both doctors strive and DO achieve the best results for each patient. Before this, I have had only one novacaine injection. I have never had any fillings,bridges etc.(fluoride generation). I am a 41 year old male. The fear of pain and unknown procedures are huge obstacles for me. All of my questions and obsessive concerns were addressed prior to the procedure by Dr. Castaneda and her staff. The day of my procedure I was greeted with reassuring smiles and the procedure was performed with caring confidence. I'm an Epileptic and about 6 months ago had a seizure that caused my four top front teeth to be repaired (1 cracked, 1 broken in half, and 2 chipped). Right now I'm finishing my graduate degree in film. Having teeth that looked like that was a thought too scary to think of. In my industry image is everything. But by the end of the process that Dr. Castaneda laid out for me before hand, I had my teeth (darkened from years of smoking) and four crowns put in. It was like I was a new person. Not only did it boast how I felt about my after the accident, but also had me more confident than I had been in years. People still remark how nice my smile looks. I couldn't suggest Dr. Castaeda more, as I embark on my journey to Hollywood. the land of the pretty, where my smile will help me tremendously. Dr Castaneda did the impossible. She was able to replace my crooked front teeth with a bridge that no other dentist thought was possible to do.That was about 6 years ago. They are still in excellent condition. I now go every three months to have my teeth checked and cleaned. She finds that the work she has done is holding and that my gums and teeth have sropped deteriorating. I am a very satisfied customer.

Extremely professional and knowledgeable, Dr. Castaneda has a sharp mind and an ability to determine the best treatment option based on individual's case. She treated my wife and did a fantastic job for three inlays. I followed with a visit to her because I wanted to fix my smile - I am congenitally missing both laterals incisors. My treatment will begin after 24 months of ortho work (so I can't comment on the treatment success at this time, although I know I am in good hands)

Dr. Castaneda is very expensive but her expertise in the field is certainly worth it if you are looking for a professional, top-notch job.

Dear Bay Area Teeth,

I am writing to say how much I J'Adore Dr. Castaneda. The initial visit with her was so pleasant that she talked to me about ME! We connected right away. I know something was special about her I just did not know what it was unitll I read the wall of her accomplishments and we were both Texans! She sensed a fear of dental work in me and she took the time to just HOLD MY HAND UNTILL THE NOVACAINE started working. That was probably the most important thing to me. I did not feel like I was on an Assembly Line at FORD MOTOR CO. She took the time to explain the procedure prior to starting the work and kept me informed of how much longer it would take. Since then I have refered most of my Friends from California Pacific Medical Center Emergency Department to her. We even got her approval to call her if we need her for a medical emergency!

Due to a large frontal gap in my teeth, and two teeth that grew in twisted i had my first experience with veneers 20 years ago when I was 14. The 4 veners filled the gap but looked a little like chicklet gum. When I consulted with my regular dentist last year regarding replacing the veneers he said I would need a real expert in the area...he sugested Dr. Castaneda. It would take a couple more veneers, minor gum laser treatment and some whitening...but in the end...I could not believe the differnce. Two monthes later I have a smile that is natural and receives compliments daily.

But my story doesn't end there...I never realized that my bite was off causing minor head aches....Dr. Castaneda spotted that with out my complaint...and fixed it with the placement of my veneers....damn nice to look at and I feel good too.

If you add all this up it would be worth recommending...but then when you mix in the awesome staff Sonya, Kiki and Dr. Dimond who does the cleanings I feel really lucky to have been refered to Dr. Castaneda.

p.s. Sonya was extremely helpful in getting my insurance to assist...they actually paid the max!!!

I highly recommend Dr. C. as a dentist and have referred several friends to her. She has watched over my teeth and gums for more than a decade. I trust her skill and judgment. She is personable, professional and thorough. I value her recommendations and had the proceedures done that corrected dental problems and stopped the problems from reoccurring. She has reinforced my front teeth to prevent chipping or breaking and constructed a couple of crowns. The results are great and I'm very satisfied with her work.

My previous dentist had reffered me to Dr, Castaneda 10 years ago when he retired, that was the best thing that could have happen.

I had a lot of work done before I started seeing Rebbeca and I was still hesitating to smile., Now that she did all my upper level cosmetic work I smile with no worries because she did a fantastic job for me I thank her for the good work and the understanding that I found at her side since the first day I walk into her clinic.

I came to Dr. Castaneda with chipped front teeth, a slightly downhill slope of my teeth from side to side and bottom teeth that jutted out too far and constantly hit my upper teeth. I also had pain in my jaw because the teeth were not closing correctly. Dr. C completely changed my look. She gave me 4 crowns and the remaining teeth on top beautiful veneers and invisalign on the bottom to pull the bottom teeth in. Before proceeding, I was sent to an oral surgeon, Dr. Carrie Berkovitz, to move my gumline up on one side so that when the veneers were put in place my new teeth would appear straight across. It was a painless procedure with almost no afterpain.

The end result was astonishing. Some people asked me if I had had plastic surgery or a face lift. My new veneers are so real looking that people can not believe it. The color and translucency of the ceramic veneers is the best I have ever seen thanks to her wonderful ceramic technician. My smile is also much wider. Dr. Castenada is an artist and a jewel. Everyone in the office is friendly and conscientious. I am going back soon to have the bottom crowns done. I recommend her very highly.

As other patients have pointed out in their reviews, she is a perfectionist and does excellent work. This is the place I actually look forward to visiting. The second you walk in you're greeted sincerely by name and not like a robot at the desk. I came to Dr. Castaneda devastated by the work of four dentists.
