I have been treated by Dr. Son-McIntyre for over two decades. Although I moved several times around the Bay Area I continue to return to San Francisco for her to take care of me. I would never go to another dentist. First of all, Dr. Son-McIntyre is an extraordinary professional. Her technical skills are first-rate, she is constantly learning and growing. She has the latest equipment. Dentistry is a medical field that has changed dramatically over the past 30 years. Good dentists keep up. Great dentists - and she is one! - stay ahead of the curve. I hever feel she is rushed. She always answers all my questions, brings up new topics ("silver" fillings, for example), and takes her time to get it right. She is professional, gentle, friendly and funny. Dr. Son-McIntyre is the best dentist I have ever been to!

She's the best!!!

I came to her because I needed a dentist who could administer Nitrous to calm my very high anxiety towards needles.

My first consultation with her was priceless. She talked with me and explained how the process of getting the nitrous would work and based on my dental x-ray results what her treatment plan recommendations would be. She also explained payment options and how they would work along with my dental plan which her office accepted.

I was very relieved to hear that my mouth could be really healthy once more. She has a calming demeanor and is very friendly.

I have gone through quite a few dentists searching for one that would be gentle with me, able to use nitrous to calm my anxieties and keep the cost within my budget.

Dr. Son-McIntyre and her office and staff fit that bill.

Dr. Son-McIntyre was recommended to me by a fellow co-worker that was a patient of Dr. Son-McIntyre. I knew I needed some work done on my teeth, cleaning, fillings, etc., but had not taken the time to make an appointment. I have not had any major problems with any procedures or other work I've had done over the years. If any, little to no paperwork is completed by the patient mostly done by her friendly staff. She explains what she is doing at each examand tells me if I am keeping my teeth at their best (or not). Smile! I have referred several family members and friends to Dr. Son. No pain on any procedures I've ever had done! That keeps me returning to Dr. Son-McIntyre with little to no stress.

Dr. Son is the best dentist by far I have ever known. My first encounter with her was an emergency, an abcessed tooth. I received her name from a 1-800 number for dentists. I was really hesitant to go because I hated going to see the dentist. I stressed that needed to see someone who was good with people who had pain issues. Anyway, Dr. Son was great. She has been our family and friends dentist for over eighteen years. I admire her commitment to her craft and her patients. Much love and respect go out to Dr. Son!!

Dr. Son-McIntyre is an excellent dentist and I give her my highest recommendation. I went to see her when I was in the middle of a straightforward crown procedure with another dentist that had gone horribly wrong, resulting in the need for a root canal. Suffice it to say, I was somewhat traumatized and desperate to find a good dentist that I could trust. She and Jim in the office were very accommodating and were able soothe some of my worries.

I feel that Dr. Son is very honest, and I greatly appreciated her conservative and sensible approach, after having been advised to do many other procedures by my previous dentist that I now know are unnecessary. She patiently and clearly explained the pros and cons of each proposed procedure. My crown situation is now resolved and I'm very pleased with the results.

She is very gentle, caring and an excellent technician. On my first appointment, she listened to me very carefully and had me come back for a second appointment to outline the necessary treatment.
