She has also given me options when it comes to payment. She accepts most insurance. She can be very merciful as well. I have developed a good rapport with her. I feel welcomed and missed by her and her staff every time I walk in for my appointment. She is compassionate.

In addition, I really love the fact that she is available on Saturdays. It makes it easier for me to make my appointments so that I do not have to miss hours at work.

I came in for a cleaning but also needed to have crowns put in. The cleaning was truly the best cleaning I've ever had and I walked away feeling my teeth fresh and bright.

Her 'bedside' manner is a joy; she's charming, bright and engaging. And her expertise is incredible! I've seen her for years, as has my mother, and the problems she's solved are both bizarre and countless. Oral problems run in my family, but under Dr. Son's care, my teeth are right as rain. When there is a problem, she always knows just how to fix it. And she has trained me to be interested in my own teeth, when I'm on my own. Dr. Son inspired me to regularly, pro-actively care for my teeth at home, which was an invaluable service.

I have had lots of work done (maxing out my insurance in two fiscal years): extractions, fillings, (root canal done by Dr. Tong in the same office), crowns, deep cleaning, and finally today a regular cleaning...now that my teeth are in a state of good repair (there is still work for next fiscal year though).

She did a crown to repair a front tooth that was chipped in childhood and had been unsightly for decades, not only fixing it, but having the crown made to disguise the somewhat twisted tooth...now people can't tell which is which (kudos to the artist on the 7th floor who created the crown).

I can't say the work is painless, since I request less numbing, preferring a bit of pain over losing my mouth for half the day, but her needle work is outstanding and accurate, she's never missed and had to inject twice.

On the intake form: "Do you like your smile? She has changed my answer from a NO to a YES!

I came to her because I needed a dentist who could administer Nitrous to calm my very high anxiety towards needles.

My first consultation with her was priceless. She talked with me and explained how the process of getting the nitrous would work and based on my dental x-ray results what her treatment plan recommendations would be. She also explained payment options and how they would work along with my dental plan which her office accepted.

I was very relieved to hear that my mouth could be really healthy once more. She has a calming demeanor and is very friendly.

I have gone through quite a few dentists searching for one that would be gentle with me, able to use nitrous to calm my anxieties and keep the cost within my budget.

She is very gentle, caring and an excellent technician. On my first appointment, she listened to me very carefully and had me come back for a second appointment to outline the necessary treatment. I have seen many dentists and I feel like Dr son was the best at evaluating my needs and coming up treatment options that fit my needs the best.

I recently saw her for a procedure more invasive than a cleaning. I was very impressed with how skilled she is at making an uncomfortable process very comfortable. In fact I kind of enjoyed my visit which I never thought was possible.

Dr. Son is thorough in her communication and pays great attention to detail. I can tell she keeps up on the latest technology and skills that will bring excellent results as well as make the whole experience better for the patient.

Now I do not dread seeing her at the end of the month to finish the work I need done.

And, as for gentle, the number one quality I measure of a dentist - all I have to say is I didn't even feel the instruments.

The reviews were accurate and right on. Dr. Son-McIntyre was extremely informative, thorough, and personable. Her entire staff; especially the front desk reception to the assistant that put me at ease when taking my x-rays or the hygenist that cleaned my teeth - were all wonderful! The facilities included a computerized x-ray machine, which reflected your results within minutes (sign of progressive technology!)

I never thought I'd find the right dentist, but I did! :)

All the equipment is new, and Sook has the cleanest practice of any dentist I have ever been to. I feel safe knowing that there are no germs around.

We have moved away from the city and have tried to find a local dentist. But in the end none compare. We make the trip because a great dentist is hard to find.

i particularly appreciate that after all these years, my routine cleaning is performed by dr. son-mcintyre. when in the chair, at her hands, i feel relaxed and trusting, of both the procedure and the outcome.
