Another issue that I have is her front desk assistant/office manager, Sue. I think she means well but her social skill is lacking. She let the whole waiting room know that I had been fired and no longer had dental insurance. I don't think she realizes how loud she speaks. I was utterly embarassed and have never been back since

I have known her since 1999 and I am so lucky to meet her to start my treatments in the city.

Unfortunately I have an advanced gum disease and see her every two months but she is very skilled, polite and easy.

One time I had to change my dentist which was a disaster...but Dr. Yucel is always on your side suggesting the best for you not just her own benefits.

The stuff at the office is very nice as well. Sue at the reception worked very hard to find a way for me to see Dr. Yucel with my insurance that I though I couldnt see her any more&

What I like the best of all is that I can trust her 100%! Again, I wouldnt know what to do with my teeth/gum without Dr. Yucel and her office!!

She is very attentive, knowledgeable and great with her patients. I used to hate going to the dentist but not anymore. My experiences with her have been consistently the least painful dental care (cavities, deep cleaning, etc...) I had in my life... Very gentle and understanding...

Dr. Yucel is a warm and friendly person who genuinely cares about her patients. Her staff shares the same qualities as well. Her facilities are top notch.

I got a numbing shot to get new fillings and she hit a nerve. She explained to me, I have only ONCE hit a NERVE in my (i forgot) 9 years of practice? (GREAT!) Ask any dentist - hitting a patient's nerve that leaves weird tingling sensation is NOT normal.

I have been a very happy patient of Dr Yucel for several years now. She is the best dentist I've ever visited. I have never experienced any discomfort during a procedure (I've had it all-

cleaning, fillings, root canals and crowns) In fact she has had to repair/replace several crowns that I had done somewhere else that were giving me trouble and she did an excellent job. I have never liked going to the dentist and especially disliked the 'drill'- but Dr Yucel has dealt with me in a very professional and compassionate manner and I no longer have a problem with anything she might need to do. Her entire staff is friendly, helpful and compassionate. I highly recommend her to all of my friends and family.

Her work is impeccable and the atmosphere in her office is great. You won't even need to use headphones to relax. As a matter of fact, I'd recommend against them. Dr. Yucel is quite bright, and you'll get to learn a lot by just listening to her. Ask her anything you'd like to know about the procedures. She'll be able to explain everything to you in terms ranging from simple (you'll start getting a little numb) to more complex (the sodium channels in your cell membranes will start to get blocked). She's an amazing dentist, and you'll know it the moment you walk into her office.

To give an example of their thorough service, Dr. Yucel goes an extra step by calling you at home after major procedure and makes sure that you are not experiencing any problem. They also prescribe pain medication if necessary.

Dr. Yucel is a perfectionist in what she does and adheres to the highest standards in her treatments. I have been to so many dentists and received multiples fillings, crowns and root canals, but I have no doubt that Dr Yucel offers the best-quality care and treatments so far.

However, the cost is not cheap given that the clinic is located in the heart of Union Square shopping district. But Dr. Yucel does take a number of insurance to make her procedures affordable to some.

I've never had a cavity, so my only claim of expertise in rating Dr. Yucel is that I've been going to a dentist every six months since I can remember. I have, however, been grinding my teeth since I was a child, and I now have tiny cracks in them as a result. She suggested that I get a mouthguard at some point, but let me know that they were expensive and that it wasn't critical that I get one immediately. I was skeptical because I've had dentists fit me with these before, and they could never make them comfortable enough for me to use more than a few days. Regardless, I saved up my money and got one from Dr. Yucel. Because she made sure it fits me comfortably, she was able to readjust it several times while I waited. Now I have an extremely comfortable mouthguard that I wear religiously. I recommend Dr. Yucel because she's a very caring person with excellent work.

I can smile now without embarrassment and go to the dentist without a stomachache.

She's been fabulously educated in 3 continents with patients from around the world. So whatever your type of jaw or teeth she knows what to do with a touch that's serene like a dream.

She's fabulously nice too;a warm communicator with a heart felt empathy for her dear patients. And her cosmetic work on my gold inlays is that rare combination of technique and artistry that comes from a life long interest it both disciplines.

Dr. Yucel's staff is also extremely friendly and helpful and they always make visits trouble-free. The after-treatment massages are an excellent way to end an appointment!

Her office is a bit on the small side, but modern, comfortable, and slick. I think she probably has the most comfortable dental chairs ever made!

Immediately when I entered her office I felt comfortable like at home. The atmosphere of the place is quite soothing, the chairs are comfortable and at the latest technology. I needed only one cavity filled and although this is not a big deal, I already realized by the way Dr. Yucel was handling me that she will be my dentist for the rest of my life. My wisdom tooth was in great pain and I needed to see a dentist soon. One of my associates recommended Dr. Yucel. At the time, I was not a patient of hers but I called her office anyway. Her office staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. She managed to see me the same day. After the exam was over, Dr. Yucel explained that she needed to extract the tooth. She was very friendly and compassionate.

The actual extraction was extremely painless. Dr. Yucel did a wonderful job. And through the process was over very quickly, I never felt rushed.

She definitely looks after her patients. Amazingly, she called me over the weekend just to make sure I was alright. I was pleasantly shocked at the call: it was the first time I've ever been contacted by a medical professional asking about my well-being after a procedure.

In addition, her staff is equally compassionate, welcoming and thorough. They were very diligent and up front about my dental insurance and exactly how much the extraction would cost BEFORE actually going through with the procedure.

I'm definitely a patient for life! Every penny was worth it.

The office feels very friendly, small but comfortable. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed even though you're in the dentist's "care", and she's not pushy about getting treatments. Rather, she gives all the information you need to make an informed decision about how you want to take care of your mouth.

First, she does an excellent job. She's incredibly thorough, and I always sense that I'm being treated by someone who truly cares about her craft.

Second, Dr. Yucel is efficient. I never have to wait around for an appointment; she's always ready at the scheduled time, and once the appointment starts she moves things along without unnecessary or unexplained delays.

Third, Dr. Yucel is efficient but she doesn't rush you. You never walk away thinking that Dr. Yucel shorted you to get to the next person. Indeed, it's quite a trick to not have people waiting around for a long time, but still give the people you're working on the fullest of attention.

Fourth, Dr. Yucel cares about her patients. She knows how to walk you through the tough moments, explain what needs explaining, and she's not beyond making a personal follow up call to make sure that all is well.
