Case Description
I have an overbite and a gap i was wondering is braces the only way to fix this problem or is there another option?

When selecting a new doctor, consider the following:

Tough to tell with out x-rays and an exam, but most likely the BEST way to solve this problem for the long term is with orthodontics. Invisalign is OK, but if your a perfectionist, I would opt for traditional orthodintics with an orthodontist and do it right. You won''''t be sorry later!

There are many options and this problem will often require a combination of procedures to give you the smile you want. Porcelain veneers may be an appropriate treatment either in conjunction or without braces or Invisalign. Many of my cosmetic patients do not want to take the time required for Invisalign or braces and elect to have porcelain veneers placed. The key for a successful result is to plan appropriately and determine what your expections of the final results are.
