I have been going to Dr. Williamson for over 20 years and have had some extensive dental work done, including removal of amalgam (mercury-containing) fillings. Dr. Williamson is consistently competent and caring. The whole staff goes to great pains to make sure the patient is comfortable. For crowns, they even have an outside expert to determine the best aesthetic look and color. I would not dream of changing dentists!

About Front Desk: Very good about helping to change appointments and about reminding me of appointments, by email, by text and by phone!

Hygiene rating:

About Hygienist: All the hygienists have my full approval.

My Experience: Crown

Duration: 2-3 hours

Dr Williamson initially counseled against a root canal to solve a symptom I was having with one upper molar. He doesnt believe in root canals in general, but after the pain persisted for over a year, he finally recommended a root canal, and sent me to an endodontist.

I take writing a review seriously and want to warn any potential client of this dentist to find another dental health care professional to do any required procedure. Dr. Jeffrey Williamson's care is rushed, scattered, and as another patient I know described him, "It felt like he was working on a car, not a human or in someone's mouth...like he was changing a spark plug". This is an accurate statement. His rough and shoddy style reminded me of a mechanic attempting to get a hubcap off a tire in haste, not a dental professional implementing an implant. If you are pain sensitive, I would also suggest finding another dentist. He was more concerned about making is 12 o'clock lunch plans than checking to see if the numbing agent was in force. When I verbally informed him that I could feel everything and it hurt, again, his attention was to look at the clock to see the time and then hastily re-administer the agent as he sighed and quickly attempted to continue his work without asking me if I was completely numb. In his haste, as he disengaged the dental probe, it ripped my lip open to where I was bleeding.

Dr. Williamson is a great dentist. I was also very impressed with the outstanding work of his hygienists. The entire staff was professional and very helpful. The moment I walked in it didnt feel at all like I was at the dentist. The environment was very soothing and clean. Dr. Williamson office is very high tech. He has computers, lasers, and digital imaging, making a dental visit that much more pleasant.

Dr. Williamson seems like a great guy, but I will never go back to his office because of his hygenists. I didn't have any work done directly by him, but on every visit there was a new, different hygenist, and each one was a nightmare. Touching every dirty counter and chair and hair and clothing with their fingers, then immediately putting their fingers in your mouth, being very slow to understand simple things, scoffing at people who say that mercury and fluoride might have ill effects (while working for a dentist who understands this, and has patients coming to him because of it), never rinsing once during cleanings so that all bacteria gets absorbed and swallowed and makes you sick for days...then there was the x-ray fiasco... I would have liked to continue with Dr. Williamson - I felt like he was smart and that I could trust him to do good dental work. But I couldn't deal with the hygenists. He needs to find and retain more professional, educated, up-to-date hygenists.

Very nice office staff. I like that office is mercury free. However, I after removing some of my amalgam some of my teeth are more sensitive than before.

Friendly, clear, skilled. Appropriately concerned about the dangers of mercury and uses low-exposure X-rays. I only wish he were less expensive.

I have been going to Dr. Williamson for quite a few years now and whenever my company changes health plans I cringe knowing that I might not be covered to go to Dr. Williamson. The entire office is very friendly and extremely professional. I enjoy being able to go back and expect the same service time after time.
