I've been going to Dr Maitland for many yrs and I've always been very satisfied with my treatment, the hygienist is great, I leave there with my teeth super clean and bright. Dr Maitland is very professional, his chairside manners are very professional as well, never felt any pain, his staff are very pleasant, they help me with my claims, and they are very friendly. The office is very clean. I would absolutely recommend Dr Maitland to everyone.

About Hygienist: His Hygienist, Ilene, is very friendly, very professional, does a great job, she takes her time on making sure she thoroughly cleans my teeth, she is very gentle and afterwards my teeth feel so clean and bright.

I know this doctor: 6 yrs

Dental work is atrocious. The office needs to be cleaned because there were roaches and rats running around. This man should lose his dental license-----JUST AVOID AT ALL COST.

My bridge work was done by Dr. Maitland. I found that he did not explain procedures to me. Did not offer me comprehensive treatment options and waited until the condition in my mouth got very bad until something was recommended. Any criticisms were not received well. I now need several implants and am searching for another dentist to establish a professional relationship with that will serve my needs and with whom I can feel comfortable.

I have had several procedures at this Doctors office and the total experience was very poor. The Dental Assistant was ill-trained and the Doctor is silent and works quickly without explaining what hes doing. If you ask a question you may get a flippant response. He gives injections too quickly, thus not allowing the pain numbing anesthesia sufficient time to work, even when performing a root-canal therapy. I had a crown installed and it took several return visits to get it to fit correctly. He seems to feel that it (the crown) will work in but that was never the case. He skips many steps when preparing your mouth for fabrication of a Crown. His prices are average for the work he performs. I will never return to his office.

Went to Dr. Mailand for a number of years - two years ago, because of his substandard service, I lost a tooth and have had problems ever since - he started a root canal without me knowing it - I thought he was working on getting the tooth ready for a temp. cap - when he left the room, I told his asst. that I would be going to a specific root canal specialist - when she told me that he had started on the root canal I was shocked - everything went downhill from there - my tooth became absessed, and he took it out at a time when I was in pain and shock - only after, I realized that I should have had additional treatment to save it - I had no infection at all in the roots - all in all, not someone to go to - besides my tooth (which is the only one I have ever lost - and, I was under his care all the time - just went in for a minor filling replacement) I lost health and lots of time and money.
