Excellent! Dr. Iott does beautiful work and he also has a great eye for color so your crown looks natural! Also, I have an inexpensive bonding that he did on a front tooth probably 20 years ago and it still looks great!

Dr. Iott changed me from someone who hated my dentists to someone who is anxiety-free about dental appointments. He is always looking for new technologies and discusses them thoughtfully with me. It is also easy to get an emergency appointment even when calling after hours. Whether it is a short, stress-free cleaning or a new crown or a bonding, I have been been extremely satisfied with Dr. Iott and recommend him to all my friends and colleagues. He loves to find and train talented associates so I have also been satisfied with appointments when I cannot see Dr. Iott.

About Front Desk: Very good, not excellent, but I care more about the dentist.

I have only the highest of praise for Dr. Iott and his staff of dental assistants. He is a skilled dentist, a craftsman and he truly loves his work. The office is a warm modern environment with the most current dental technology. Dr. Iott is on time, works in a very friendly manner and has always given me complete focused attention during our time together. Without a doubt he is one of the best in NY or anywhere. I recommend him to all.

Dr. Iott is a good enough man, it's his team that leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Pushy, greedy - so manipulative. They think they are clever having conversations in front of you (about your bill), via whispering or over the interoffice telephone, but even a fool can figure it out their antics. They pretend to care about your well being and its bottom line, all about the money. And such is true with most things in life, but they are just so obvious about it. The work is decent, but I think you can get the same quality of work for far less money. All the receommendations are vanity based with an expensive price tag, so like a good consumer, shop and compare before making a decision to go this route. Pain, stress and anxiety goes beyond the chair and they should be more sensitive than they are.

Dr. Iott is not only the most skilled dentist but he is also a sympathetic human being of the highest character. We joke that his is not a dental office, but a private club where the highest-class dentistry is done. One Saturday morning I had a painful tooth and left a message that I needed an appointment early Monday. Within an hour, he called back, insisting that I come in at once. When I got there he had a nurse chairside whom he had called to come in. End of dental pain! Dr. Iott has always provided our whole family with the highest quality dental work in the most pleasant atmosphere. We are truly grateful for the wonderful service he has given us. His large staff of specialists and technicians is similarly gifted and caring. Dr. I's patients include some of the brightest stars of show business and sports. His clients are so loyal that they will come from as far as Japan for his skill. In brief, he's the best. His office did seven implants for me, all of which have been successful. When I lost my two upper front teeth, he replaced them so skillfully that I get compliments on their appearance More important, they work well..

A very personable, enthusiastic and attentive dentist. A perfectionist with great attention to detail. Listens well but will point out what will work and what will not. Has the best technology for xrays and veneer and crown fabrication in the business right now. Results are real like and far superior to porcelin. Also fabrication is done in house and on the same day. Works with a team of experts in his office, endodontics, implant and ceramics. The clinical component of dentistry comes first, after that it is smile design all the way. A great start if you are looking for an evaluation of your smile, you will get an honest opinion re what needs to be done and what can be done. No obligation beyond the first consultation if you like. This practice is professionally run, pleasant and accommodating. There is a true team approach to all work and an enthusiasm that is infectious. Prices are on a par with other NYC dental offices for initial consult, veneers, crowns and implants. Cosmetic work is guaranteed for life. If you want a good dentist, this practice is well worth checking out. Go to www.smiletonight.com to read more.

Dr. Iott seems to be a fan of Cerec (computer milled inlays and onlays.) He gave me several inlays and onlays. They are completed within one visit. But one developed a crack within days. Another one broke within 3 months. When they were being done, I didn't like the shape of the surface. Only when I complained, did he redo the onlay by doing what he called a "correlation" between the onlay and the opposite tooth, using the Cerec computer. He should have done this the first time around. He just didn't care. Also, he doesn't wear a facemask when working. And he loves to talk over my mouth!

Before I knew what happened, Dr. Iott removed 3/4 of 3 of my teeth, because, according to him, there were cavities in-between the teeth. The teeth were removed from the top, in the centers. He then inserted Cerec inlays. The top surfaces of the teeth are now flat. The teeth are shorter than the teeth on the other side of the mouth. The inlays have broken off. I'm sure Dr. Iott will fix them w/o charge, but I will never return to him.

Dr. Iott patched the front surfaces of 2 lower incisors. The patches turned out to be darker in color than the rest of the teeth. I returned to him to point this out. He disagreed with me that the patches were dark. He argues that the patches appear dark only to me, and not to others. He says he'll prove this to me by taking a polaroid picture. He takes a picture, and, lo and behold, the dark patches are evident in the picture. He then points to the patches in the picture and says "I don't see this". After being dumbfounded for a moment, I yelled "What is this that you don't see?". He agreed to redo the patches, and redid them. The patches are no lighter than the first time he did them. He also loves to use his Cerec machine. He removed 3/4 of 3 of my teeth so that he can give me Cerec milled onlays. The top surfaces of these teeth are now completely flat. One of the teeth (incisor) is shorter than before - it is plainly apparent. Another onlay has broken after 2 months. I will not return to this used car salesman of a dentist. He kept boasting how he teaches at NYU. As they say, those who can't teach.
